      PBC stay taking Ls.

Also Kovalev has built a brand so people will recognize him will tune in even if he is fighting a bum. At least they know someone it's getting KTFO.

HBO is the best in the business at building boxing personalities... Pac, Floyd, GGG, Kov, Berto,Canelo,Broner... list goes on

Just about all the big names and forgotten names in boxing are built in conjunction with HBO. Al the guys haymon, showtime, pbc have were built by HBO.

Floyd is the only one who's brand has really grown significantly after leaving HBO. Everyone else is just a Haymon stable fighter now with no real name recognition

... and don't forget that Ward was HBO Sports' Hershman protege for years... If even Hershman, the man who made Ward, let him down... you just imagine...

I think HBO is in only about 30% of homes compared to CBS which is free and available to everyone. Despite that huge advantage still PBC pulled lousy ratings.
            1. CBS pays more than HBO? How's that possible, given that CBS doesn't pay a dime for its programming?

            2. PBC on CBS did lousy ratings? Right...that's why only three sporting events - The Open golf on ESPN, NASCAR on NBCSN and CONCACAF/Mexico game, all costing tens of millions of dollars - did better ratings all weekend.

More importantly, you want to guess what kind of viewership a typical Saturday or Sunday afternoon college basketball game on CBS gets? Yes, you guessed it...average is around 0.9 - 1.0, or about 1-1.1 million viewers...same as PBC.

So if PBC ratings on CBS are lousy, and CBS isn't paying a dime for it - then CBS must be ****** for paying millions of dollars for college basketball that generates the same ratings.
