Good point, it's very up and down. But I still think 7 top matchups in 5 months is a great amount.

By the way, Kovalev's a beast!

But that's because there was no regular champion at the time.

Golovkin got promoted from Regular to Super champion in 2013 when Geale gave up the title in order to face Mundine.

The WBA ordered Danny Jacobs and Fletcher to fight for the vacant WBA regular belt.

Fletcher was Golovkins mandatary in 2014 but only because there was no regular champion for him to fight, so he had to face the Super Champ. Golovkin chose to face Geale instead, and the WBA decided to have Jacobs and Fletcher fight for the title.

The situation at LHW is different because there are two WBA champions.

Which means the mandatory winner has to fight Braehmer before he fights Sergey.

and i'm going with close fight or upset in this stevenson karpency bout..karpency schooled fonfara until the stoppage..he got dropped in the first round and was still close ont he cards..and the shcooling he put on dawson was not bc dawson was washed..he was timing dawson to pieces and showing great ring iq

          • Smh PBC is on some weak shhh. Haymon WTF are you doing!? Granted its only been on the last 4-5 months but the match ups are weak considering how deep the stable is. Ill utube it, no way will i add to the ratings though...ateast until Haynon pushes a better product, PBC stinks for the time being

he got knocked down 2 times in the first round vs fonfara...the rest of the fight tells a different story...

There were way too man total mismatches and trash fights by Haymon, so you listed the best fights Haymon made so far and its a very very sad list.

The fights you listed weren't great, all of these fights show exactly how Haymon is cancer to the sport and destroying all the exciting matchups the fans really want to see and deliver c class fights instead.

Its always Haymon A side vs Haymon B Side

You know beforehead who will get favoured by Haymon, the Watson gang will always be on the A side, and the B side is always there to make the A side look good, luckily cherrypicking went wrong alot.

                Thurman vs Guerrero
Guerrero isnt great, he was okay at lightweight but he doesnt belong at WW, not enough power, not enough skills.
Thurman should have faced someone like Garcia, Porter or Khan

                Quillin vs Lee
Quillin should have fought GGG long ago, Haymon was just trying to get an easy belt for Quillin and failed, Quillin is a disgrace to the sport.

                Khan vs Algieri
cherrypick, made to showcase Khan and give him an easy knockout, he should have fought Brook, Thurman, or a Garcia rematch. Luckily Khan gets expoxed by a guy that lost every second to Pacquiao and got a gift decision.

                Broner vs Porter
They tried to drain Porter and give Broner all the advantages, Haymon wants to build the bum Broner because he has alot of ******ed fans, but Broner doesnt even deserve to be on TV, luckily Porter exposed him

                Santa Cruz vs Mares
Santa Cruz has been fighting cabdrivers his whole career, he is Haymons personal puppet, kept lying to the fans about wanting to fight Rigo etc, but people are not that ******, now he lost most of his fans. Haymon should have made LSC vs Rigo or Frampton long long ago, now Santa Cruz will pay for all that vs Marez and will hopefully get exposed.

So the best matchups Haymon made were actually just fraud fights, fooling the fans, the public and stalling entire careers with cherrypicking and Haymon champs vs Haymon chumps. We could have seen a lot of exciting matchups and Haymon didnt even deliver a single one so far.

But it's Free. Free shi.t. How great.

It is a great amount and I respect that. I got nothing against Haymon, I respect what he's doing to boxing. Hbo has sh** fights also. But when your on a huge platform like CBS, ESPN, NBC you have to always deliver. HBO doesn't suffer as much because they already have their fan base and audience. Time will tell how PBC does but right now I rate it a 7-10.

I only saw the Karpency/Dawson not bad at all. If Karpency can handle Stevenson's power than their might be an upset.
