    Artur "Stevenson's Body Guard" Beterbiev

Why are they protecting Adonis? The man is what almost 38 years old. No point in protecting the man, his time is almost up. It's simple if they don't want to feed Adonis to Kovalev, then feed him to your own up and comer in Beterbiev. He needs more experience before going in with Sergey.
Stevenson is merely playing his part; stay busy fight for September, to stay sharp for another fight com the winter.

In the meantime, Fonfara-Cleverly happens in October (to line up the WBA 175 mandatory challenger, a fight I think Fonfara wins), Beterbiev locks in his mandatory challenger position around the same time, ad then the camp puts the screws to Kovalev and HBO/Duva.

Stevenson again states that he's waiting for Kovalev to step up, Fonfara calls out Kovalev for his fight, and Beterbiev questions the man's manhood in Russian for everyone to understand.

I Kovalev backs out of all three fights, he looks like an utter chump.

Both Sergey and Adonis seem to love fighting Nathan Cleverly's leftovers. That should tell you the state of the division right now.

Shame on you to put Beterbiev and Karpency in the same boat...Beterbiev can prove to be the hardest challenge for Kovalev so far... I'm sure he's bitter sweet about fighting him with the nightmares from his two loses in the amateurs... Beterbiev is a top seed already despite his few pro fights.
I never put them in the same boat. I said there is no one left to fight and that is why Beterbiev is fighting for the title now instead of getting more experiance. Who else is there? You heard of titles being vacant, how about a list of contenders being vacant. It is why we are seeing guys like Nadjib Mohammedi in title shots.

^This. The guy wants Kovalev but they're hiding behind hbo as a way to weasel out of it. I'm not excited by this fight, but don't see it as being any worse than Kova beating up a pizza vendor.

It's not going to be that easy. The winner of that fight ends up in the mandatory position.... for Juergen Braehmers title. Not Kovalev's. They have to get the Regular title first before they can become the mandatory to face the Super Champion.
