Karpency is a club fighter and I've seen him fight a few times in Morgantown here, he's not that good, def not good enough to get a crack at Stevenson.

Bum match making, I can hardly blame Stevenson, fool is old, def on the outs in the next couple years, let him get that one good pay day against Kovalev, I have no problem with that fight, even if Stevenson has only a puncher's chance

Karpency is equally as bad as Nadjib Mohammedi if not worse. They both suck but at least Karpency beat a contender. Face it there is no one left in the division besides Fonfara and 10-0 prospect for them to face. Both Stevenson and Kovalev had opportunity to fight each other and neither wanted it so Stevenson has to fight Karpency and Kovalev fights a prospect before he is ready. We need to see Braehmer and Eleider Alvarez step up to the plate soon.

Shame on you to put Beterbiev and Karpency in the same boat...Beterbiev can prove to be the hardest challenge for Kovalev so far... I'm sure he's bitter sweet about fighting him with the nightmares from his two loses in the amateurs... Beterbiev is a top seed already despite his few pro fights.
