Dude you have no f.uck'n clue what you're talking about. GGG nor Lemieux is big enough to demand PPV money. And there's not enough demamd for this fight to be on PPV. They're just likely demanding more money than HBO is willing to put up. So HBO simply set a price, and told them to try their luck with the rest on PPV.

I used to hope all PPVs did well. But not now. GGG-Lemieux is a garbage fight. I hope it tanks like hell. Hopefully bring this clown back down to Earth and force him to take some better fighrs.
why? i just brought facts about Floyd's first ppv fight, it was about 350k , just google it.

If GGG makes more than 350k against Lemieux it would be mean GGG ppv debut is better.Dont forget Floyd fought Gatti and Lemeiux doesnt have a status of star like Gatti

I don't know about PPV. But they can build this up to be a pretty big fight at the Barclays.

I would pay up to $300 for this PPV and for as little quality as SD on a 12 inch antenna TV.

So you think Oscar is sacraficing Lemieux for peanuts. 150K ould likely mean close to another $2M for Lemieux. So he's cashing him out. PPV just protects HBO from having to put up all the front money the fighters are wanting.

Lemiex made 1,3m against Ndam, why would he take such a risky fight( you can say a fight he cant win) to earn a little bit more than in his last fight?it doesn make sense.Obviously he and Oscar think they will throw big ppv numbers and earn much more than 2m

I meant $2M on top of what he's already being guaranteed genius.

Floyd also had to deal with a much smarter hardcore fan base that knew the fight was a laughable mismatch. Also had to deal with Buddy McGirt openly advising Gatti against the fight. Floyd also had to deal with a fan base that didn't exactly like him taking the Chop Chop and Bruseles fights to become Gatti's mandatory. I don't have to google ****. I been following this sport a long time sweetie.

So you even read the crap you post Dirk. No denying Ward vs Kovalev is the bigger fight in terms of boxing history but financially GGG vs Lemiuex is the bigger fight.

GGG is the most popular of the 4 fighters. And will be the PPV star of the new era.

The stardom of Ward, Kovalev, and Lemiuex isn't that big of a gap. Their ratings are about what and what HBO. The only difference is Lemiuex brings in Canadian money.
