Hopkins/Dawson was PPV, so nothign stopping this.
    Ward getting active helps
Up until the last couple years, I remember ordering 4-5 fights iI deemed PPV worthy almost yearly. A lot more quality fights used to get made. To me, the PPV success Floyd amd Manny have had seemed to screw most of these fighters' minds up. Not trying to start a piss'n war. But a guy like GGG, who's yet to make his PPV debut and has a very mediocre resume screaming "A-side" is a complete joke to me. I remember when fights like Morales-Ayala, which was a good match-up when announced. Would take place on PPV with very lil b1tch'n and d1ck measuring. Fortunately, Kovalev seems to have the right attitude.

Lemieux is a star in Canada like GGG in US.Thats why this is on ppv.

GGG has more options then Ward does or Kovalev. Those guys might as well fight each other. The Stevenson fight isn't going to happen, you can thank Haymon for that. Both guys will not be put in the ring with any of Haymon's top fighters anytime soon if ever. GGG has Lemieux now and either Canelo or Cotto.

Thats why GGG vs Lemiex is bigger than Kovalev vs Ward
This is a clear example of the idiocy that infest the hardcore fight community nowadays. Used to be, on forums like this, you didn't have to deal with clowns like this. News flash f.uck boi. If you call yourself a hardcore fight fan, it doesn't get any bigger than Ward-Kovalev.

So on behalf of all old skool, hardcore fans like myself, F.UCK YOU!!!!!!!!

When Floyd made his first ppv fight against Gatti he was B side and Gatti the A side.If i remember their fight threw about 350 k. Its highly possible GGG will will have better ppv debut than Floyd.

you are right but it doesnt change the fact that people would rather pay for " "entertainers " like GGG than for high skilled fighters like Ward

What does that have to do with HBO PPV? I don't even think he's that big of a star in Canada.

You're outta your f.uck'n mind, but OK.

I used to hope all PPVs did well. But not now. GGG-Lemieux is a garbage fight. I hope it tanks like hell. Hopefully bring this clown back down to Earth and force him to take some better fighrs.

he has a big fanbase in Canada wich would pay for his fights on HBO or Showtime. Doesnt matter wich network he fights on

Casual fans drive PPV numbers, not hardcore fans.

Having said that, more casuals in the US would be interested in Ward-Kovlaev than GGG-Lemiuex. I don't see how that can be denied.
