      pacquiao was coming from a devastating KO loss when he fought rios, and nobody wanted the algieri fight.

        Fought Rios after a year off and that near death experience with Marquez.....nobody liked Algieri... and that reflected on his PPV... both did

          Funny Floyd ducked Pac when he was actually in prime.. surprise, surprise.. lol
          Funny, evidence shows Pac walked away from the fight in '09. Not Floyd.

            Exactly. As usual, this clown is delusional and thinks people praised that fight. Regardless, rios and Algieri are better opponents than berto.

              To add more fuel to the OP's point, the uproar against May vs Berto is worse than when Pac fought Shane Mosley.

                Yes, because Mosley is a legend and he'd probably still kick Bero's ass now.

                  When Floyd fought:
                  Canelo = weight-drained (152 catchweight) and green
                  Maidana = 3 defeats (and almost retired following the crushing beat down by Khan)

                  Pacquiao fought the better comp, not even debatable. Floyd's entire career is an illusion.
                  this guy is actually trying to play it off like rios and algerie where better oponnents than canelo and maidana

                      And there's yet another thing, I told you Floyd's career was an illusion. He only called out Mosley when Mosley was inactive for a year and a half, thinking about retiring. Then baaam, he gets the Floyd phonecall and takes the fight without even a tune up. More smoke and mirrors from Floyd, he fought a totally unprepared Shane.

                      Pac at least fought a Mosley who was back in the swing of things with a few fights under his belt and without such a prolonged period of inactivity.
