Double standards.... Mayweather has defeated like 13 major world titleholders in a row

    Berto is as well

He could fight anyone not a middleweight and some will complain anyway

He can fight who he wants he already beat everyone who matters

Rios was a tune up after being knocked out ubconcious. And Algieri was an undefeated champion coming off the biggest win of his life.

Berto is neither a tune-up, nor is he coming off the biggest win of life...or maybe he is?

It is whatever the flowmoez such as yourself want it to be, "a farewell fight. Everyone is over how terrible of a fight Berto-Maywesther is. The initial shock is gone, let it settle and be what it will be now.

Pac came off a devastating KO loss. And Algeiri is better than a lot of guys Floyd has fought recently anyway.

Floyd is coming off the biggest fight of our time, and put the entire world to sleep with his boring performance. He owes the fans, not the other way around.

You Floyd stains are so delusional you think you owe him something. It's sad and pathetic the excuses you make for this guy, "Floyd earned this yo."

Earned what exactly? I paid 100 bucks to be entertained, not to watch a dude, grab and run for 12 damn rounds.

There was plenty of uproar about Algieri.

Rios was his first fight back after being nearly decapitated. Considering that, it wasn't a bad pick.

Floyd can totally fight a relative can like Berto and that's fine. I think the biggest gripe is that they want to ppv it.

Speaking for myself, I'll wait til' the following week to see it.

With all due respect , bro, Pacquiao has nothing to do with the conversation. The only reason you're bringing it up is because you and other Floyd fans realize how ****ty this fight is.

Floyd has proven to be a much better fighter than Pacquiao. You're right - Floyd does not get enough credit for fighting some of the best fighters in the sport over his career. Regardless of what people want to believe, he routinely fights and beats fighters that people accuse him of being afraid of right before they step in the ring.

This is not one of those situations. Who gives a damn if Berto has a world title? He isn't Anywhere close to being a challenge for Floyd and you know he isn't. Its an absolute garbage fight and not worth paying money for.

I still have trouble believing that he's actually going to fight Berto. I expect him to announce that he's fighting someone else, but if he doesn't and fights Berto then he deserves to be criticized for it.

/thread lol. Anyone comparing Berto as a pick with Algieri or Rios deserves to be laughed at.

              Funny guy....

You're a funny guy. You sound bitter and immature just like Floyd. Manny was coming off a brutal "one punch" KO at the hands of a cheater. Rios is BIGGER than Manny and has one punch KO power. He comes forward and doesn't tire. He is crazy!!!!!! You know what that means? Excellent come back fight. That's what. If Manny wasn't still Manny, Rios would've walked right through him. He went right into the rematch with the "undefeated" Bradley, the following fight. Against Algeri, he was facing a young, undefeated fighter with a big heart, movement, stamina, and he was coming off the biggest win of his career, against a feared fighter in RP. It was a good style challenge for Manny. He did what he was supposed to do. It's very difficult to fight a moving target. It takes ring IQ and patience. Manny displayed both. It turns out that Algeri is a solid fighter who continues to improve by the fight. The problem you guys have as Floyd fans is that he's a coward, who you try to make brave. He's not brave and he doesn't challenge himself as an A Level fighter. PERIOD. Manny is the man and his place in history WILL be higher because of his bravery, willingness to fight ANYONE, in any place or country, and his ability to fight EVERY style. Algeri would give Floyd fits. Bradley would give Floyd fits. Cheeto would give Floyd fits. He's never fought styles like those EVER in his career. It's easier said than done. Manny is the better fighter between them as he proved on May 2nd. All the Mayweather's do is run their mouths and get beat up in the process. Hahahaha!!!!!!!!!

To say a champion/top fighter has "earned" an easy fight is the dumbest thing ever. Be a boxing fan

Algieri and even Rios would end Berto career in 4 round max
