#50 the fight, the documentary, the merchandise. Showtime will eat off that for five to ten years easily.

Seriously I really do hope he retires, nothing against him but he is holding him the division. No one wants to take a risky fight because they might get a call from him for a fight next. Am throwing #48 too in that same boat.

If he was truly gonna retire after Berto and wanted an easy farewell fight then that's fine (even though Berto is a bit of an extreme as far as mismatches go). But if he knows he's gonna keep fighting after this then why is the #1 p4p fighter wasting his time like this? Why not face Thurman, Khan, or Garcia, they have all already fought on PBC and are under Haymon. (Purposely left out Brook, Bradley, GGG because they're not PBC). How can anyone be cool with him claiming "TBE" and fighting such a mismatch if he's not actually gonna retire after? If he is still gonna get paid his huge guarantee then why does it have to be an easy opponent? Why not give casuals who are watching for the first time on CBS an actual fight instead of a joke like this Berto mismatch?

I don't want to see him fight beyond 50. If he can get to 50-0 then that is the perfect time to walk away. To go beyond that and to risk everything is potentially a big mistake. The money and the lifestyle might be near impossible to walk away from, but Father Time will catch up to even him if he stays around just one fight too long. I personally don't want to see it happen.
