Floyd needs to retire before he ages more and some young sht finally gets to him. He's done it all, he is good to go, walk off into the sunset and don't look back. He admitted he doesn't have the passion for the sport like he once had.

mayweather is trying to get cbs to pay him 30 million to fight a soft touch like a damaged goods berto. they are probably willing to accomodate him if he agrees to the 3 fight contract extension. it sounds like he doesn't have to actually fight at all but if he does choose to fight on then he will be contractually tied to showtime/cbs. he could fight berto for 30 million and retire. The 3 fight extension will only be in effect if he decides to fight on it seems.

lol I had a feeling that this was going to happen.
I know it's still not confirmed yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it's true.

Really, I don't think he has much else to fall back on.

I don't see how Showtime could give him an extension worth anything close to what they gave him last time. At this rate 4 out of the six fights will have underperformed (If its Bert or Khan in September no way it cracks a million PPV buys) and I don't see a fight as big as Canelo or Pacquiao looming in the next 12 months.
