GGG was willing to fight Froch at 168 but he will only fight award at 164????? Sounds fishy. He knows that award will expose his robotic simple style and beat him. I hope it isn't for Ward's title.
Originally posted by BIGPOPPAPUMP View PostMandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to budge from his position that a potential fight with Andre Ward will only happen if Ward - the recognized champion at super middleweight - is wiling to meet them halfway at a catch-weight of 164-pounds.
Golovkin and his team received more than their fair share of heat in recent days, after placing a catch-weight demand on a potential fight with Ward. The reason for the heat, is because Golovkin was willing to fight both Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the full super middleweight limit.

Ward has beaten the best and toughest in his division. Dangerous fighters who were tested and proven themselves. Who has golovkin faced? The limited bleeder rosado? The one dimensional left hooker stevens? A faded kassim ouma? Who all I might add had their moments in their fights with golovkin. Fights that were more competitive than even golovkin anticipated. But these were c and b level fighters.

GGG is using the risk vs reward business model because he isnt sure he can beat Ward at his best.
Its really not any more complicated then that.
The only question is why dont his fans just admit it?Last edited by AllBoxingAD; 07-24-2015, 06:39 AM.

I bet if GGG would talk **** about Ward's family Ward's response would still be like" come to 168 and i ll beat you"lol

... I didn't mind GGG and his team spinning Ward off a little -- the guy thinks he can do everything he wants to... as he wants to, when he wants to...
... But I just found out that Sanchez blocked a Lara fight, as Haymon seems to have agreed upon... And this one I don't like it at all...

Why you haters just can't wait until GGG cleans out 160 and then goes further to other weight division? Well I know why. Because you want him to lose so badly, that's why you want him to fight number two p4p the undisputed champ at 168 RIGhT NOw!!!
