Just that one quote. Give it up. It was hyperbole. How long are you gonna keep hanging that quote around his neck?

So maybe GGG is not a ducker or fraud but simply smarter than Dawson who said that he will go to 168 in order to get Ward, and Andre being the opportunist that he is, took him upon his offer at face value. And now GGG is offering him a 164 fight, which technically qualifies as a 154-168 fight.
The quote is as dumb as Ward saying he could beat Klitschko and that he would move up after the super six.

But Triple G is too big for Mayweather at 154? How does that work again?
Mayweather never mentioned GGG. It's funny that the most avoided fighter in the world(GGG) wants to fight Froch and Chavez at 168 but Ward at 164. It just shows the respect that he has for Ward.

Ward never asked Dawson to come down to 168, Dawson said that he is willing to come down to 168 to fight Ward and Ward accepted.

He may not be a great technical fighter but make no mistake about it, he is a dangerous middleweight to any fighter he gets in the ring with. He has reasonably quick hands and huge power shots, which if he connects, can ruin a fighter's day. I'm betting Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, Lee, they all are probably having second thoughts about fighting him right now.

This is clearly a fight that needs to marinate a little bit to draw more interest. Its in both fighters interest to delay the fight so they can make more money. I don't know why its such a hard concept. Neither of these fighters are scared to fight.

Wrong. Both fighters are way past the stage in their careers where they need to let fights "marinate." Golovkin obviously doesn't believe he can beat Ward and moving up one division in weight is too much for boxing's "boogie man."

Yes, imagine if Ward wanted Kovalev at 171. Anybody who tries to justify this move by Golovkin can never be taken seriously.

Its even funnier that Ward will go to 160 for Floyd, but cry about 164 for GGG.
