On another hand one must find out if Ward is really serious about such a fight; because one month ago ward didn't know who and at what weight he was going to fight next... then he suddenly repeated the mantra of "I want Golovkin NOW, right now -- because it's what I want now..." But who would take Ward's word for granted? Last time when ward wanted GGG "NOW" was on Nov. 17, 2013... And what did Ward do next after calling GGG out? Ward just "retired" from boxing...
Good god, the excuses are coming full circle.

    Stoppit please !

Ward has instructed his management to make the fight, the negotiations did not make it past the first conversation, because of the catchweight demand.

The negotiations stalled, exactly like Team Golovkin knew they would.

I added a small comment to your list of excuses, just to provide some context.

          • Ward fought at his lowest weight of 166 about 10 years ago , but their asking for 164 . They might as well have gracefully bowed out and just admitted that their just not prepared to have their hype train derailed yet ! They knew a 164 catch weight would deliver the exact same results as asking for a catch weight of 99-pounds = an impossibility ! So for the GGG team it's "mission solved" while saving a little face .

Roc won't make an offer like that because they know they would take huge loss if they did. That's because, as I pointed out before, GGG/Ward would not be a big enough fight right now. Maybe next year or the year after, but not now.

              • Golovkin hype has been thoroughly exposed, the big bad killer everyone avoids is scared of Ward.

stop bringing excuses you are talking like Ward is heavyweight. He is still 168 fighter. Just the fact that he stays over 10 years at 168 shows how scared he is to move up or down to real competition.

Golovkin has been at 160 for 10 years.

They didn't make him an offer.

Can you get that through your head? If they had made him an offer we would have heard all about it by now.

                      Did you hear about it?

If so, tell us how much GGG turned from Ward down to focus on Lemieux.
