Haymon is like the hustler who comes on to a block and starts giving away free bags of dope at a loss just to steal everyone's customers away, then once he has cornered the market he can give these dope fiends trash because he's run everyone else out of business and he's the only show in town. Sure it may work for him but its us fans who lose out in the long run because we'll have to just accept the crap he gives us rather than having to step up his game due to the competition.

Seems to me that its many of the haymon fanboys who are in fact the racists ones. They really don't care about the future of the sport. They just want to see a successful black man win and take over the sport at all costs.

Imagine if she had Kovalev on HBO and still had NBC Sports she would be doing a lot better but unfortunately for her that is not the case and I think she is BITTER because of that and I somewhat understand
You are working under the assumption she could have kept that NBC Sports deal. If Haymon hadn't took it from her someone else would have. So she was losing that deal regardless. She wasn't keeping two TV deals with that garbage roster. She'd just be bitter & have her panties in a bunch about some other person if Haymon wasn't there.

A few things to consider though -

He has been passing the risk off to others rather than himself. Who had the purse gaurantee for mayweather? It wasnt Haymond it was Showtime, the risk was on them. If they never made the Pac fight, they likely could have lost millions, while Haymond still makes his percentage off every fight.

PBC, Haymond got something like 400 million from investors on this... the key thing here is PBC is separate from Haymond, Haymond just has only his fighters fighting on it..... PBC can fail and Haymond will still be around. Again the risk is not on him but on those investors and on CBS/showtime.

He literally took all of goldenboy's fighters right under their nose. He knows what hes doing. Hes a hell of a lot smarter than kathy freaking duva. boo ****ing hooo its not fair that I cant make money the old way by doing nothing and just taking 30 percent a purse. boo hoo haymond is making me work harder to make a living.
Exactly. The amount of investor money people think Haymon is leaking like a oil spill isn't anything like the reality if you could see the accounting books I'm 100% sure cuz Haymon is like Neo fighting in the Matrix to any two boxing promoters just based on the **** he's done already. As mentioned he got one of the biggest promoters in the games whole roster just about & helped make a guy 60%+ of fans hate either as a person &/or as a fighter the highest paid athlete not just in boxing, but in sports.

Any hater of change in boxing like Duva is gonna be waiting several years best case for Haymon to fail. Anyone trying to bring change & taking this sorta risk to become a player in a environment with so many players already easily could go outta business don't get me wrong so Duva could get her dream coming true, but it says a lot about her character & abilities that a lot of her focus today is on Haymon & Haymon failing.

Kathy's just showing her ass. Not like we didn't know it was sore before. What can you do? Neither she, nor GBP, nor Top Rank, nor the many ****boys on this site can stop what's happening.

I'm rooting for WSB, APB & BKB to have an impact on pro boxing too so I guess I wanna see a successful asian man & a successful whatever the race of the guy who runs BKB is too.

People don't seem to recall that boxing has a bunch of corrupt bs involved in it & isn't a Utopia now or pre-Haymon. I'm pro anyone bringing change to boxing that, in my own estimation, could eventually bring positive change to boxing & I believe PBC, WSB, APB & BKB to all be en****** that could make boxing better in the future. I'm tired of promoters ****ing over boxers with contracts & prevent fights, I'm tired of 4 "world" champions in one world seemingly, I'm tired of divisions having up to 40 fighters who could be announced as "top ten world rated" fighters, I'm tired of horrible mandatory fights, I'm tired of commissions sanctioning cards where there is a red corner filled with undefeated or 1 loss prospects & a blue corner with losing record fighters who've all been knocked out at least once in their last couple fights, I'm tired of embarrassing old or fat guys who can't even box being licensed to compete as a "pro". I love the sport of boxing, but I'm so tired of so many things that are obviously a problem that people just accept as "part of the sport" without realizing that some or all of that stuff could be changed or improved when/if anyone ever sees the value in boxing & the money that one entity or a couple en****** could be making if they simply gave a **** about boxing long term instead of just up to the "next big fight" aka payday like most of the power brokers in boxing currently do.

No one here has to do anything at all. Eventually Haymon will run out of money and after dropping close to half a billion dollars on this enterprise, his investors will not be throwing any more money at it and Haymon will end up slinking away into the dark where he belongs. Boxing is not important enough to get a major network deal, damn... it is so far down the line that even the government can't be bothered to investigate the sport for wrong doing. Compare that with baseball where if a hitter starts hitting more home runs than the previous season, the government starts to get a grand jury investigation ready to go! Even cycling gets more attention.

I don't think that's because boxing is less important than Baseball or cycling, but simply that it's been corrupt for so long now that the authorities, and everybody else, have gotten used to living with it.

Couldn't disagree more. MMA had a horrible rep at one point. States were banning it, they were calling it human ****fighting & the sport had a tiny fan base ffs. Boxing doesn't have it half as bad as MMA did. Once MMA got some people involved in the sport that 1)gave a ****, 2)had the money & 3)had a plan...that all changed. Took time, but it changed. Same thing can happen to boxing, but I doubt boxing fans, who are notoriously glass half empty about errrrything, can't see that.
