There's some envy in those comments.

Holmes had a great run as heavyweight champion - he surpassed all expectations during his career (unlike Lewis, Frazier, Ali and Foreman he wasn't considered the future champion when he started out as a pro).

He should just accept his age and respect Klitschko for what he is.

      hhhh , good one .
i think he was just joking/trolling , there is no way he believes that , if he does he got serious issues.

Sadly, many boxers end up this way.

I'd take a 39 year old Holmes over the Wlad we saw wilt against Jennings...

                  LOL.

You need to put down the Crack pipe. Holmes would have KO'ed both of these frauds...

he was a ridiculously good HW at his best, but it's insulting to the entire sport to say what he said about klitschko. wladimir is a perfectly decent HW champion.

i think he sounds like a jackass. he's been known to sound like a jackass in the past. holmes is well known to be bitter about a lot of things, mainly living in the shadow of muhammad ali.

Most of those "18" defenses were of a PAPER title. Wlad has only defended the LINEAL title 3 times whereas Holmes defended it 12 times. Holmes' record is in NO danger of being broken by Wlad...
