That is so true. I love fights being on network TV but the danm commercials in between the rounds does take a from the fight. It's so much better seeing the corners work and how they are interacting and working. Now right exactly when the bell sounds it will be straight to the commercials and only back to the fight when the bells sounds again. You may get one free round of corner work but with the price tag Mayweather gets I think you might not get even one round of corner work. The network will need to make their money back.

Not to mention, Mayweather fighting Ortiz leftovers - who the hell would pay for that anyway? lol
I highly doubt he's being paid $32mil without any ppv revenue unless they can get big money advertisers to commit and even that is a stretch.

I understand Haymon is trying to use Floyd to help build his PBC brand with this free network fight but I dont see how it will continue to attract viewers after when 2 no namers are facing eachother. He would need Floyd to be the face and spokesman of PBC in order to keep casuals drawn.

Floyd is already an embarrassment to boxing, so a fight with Berto isn't going to humiliate him any further.

Lol no he wasn't at 152... Sorry but if you think a guy who walks around 160+ is in top form at 152... Then keep telling yourself he fought a tip top Canelo.
