The fight hasn't even been officially announced. TMZ saying its a done deal is not a credible source.

Not to mention, Mayweather fighting Ortiz leftovers - who the hell would pay for that anyway? lol

Cotto can fight two bums and Manny can fight a no name Chris Algieri but when Floyd Mayweather announces a fight with Berto (who is ranked by the WBA) then all hell breaks loose. Hating and haters will hate. Does Floyd have to have a superfight every single fight? He fought Cotto at his weight, he fought Canelo, he fought Oscar, he fought Shane, Zab, Maidana when no one would fight him, Guerrero when he was at the top and beat the one guy who everyone said he would lose and that is Manny in a no contest of a fight. It was the best sparring warm up in history. Manny did not come to fight at all, he just let Floyd circle and box circles around him knowing that is what Floyd would do. Every fighter has a good fight but not a big championship mega fight so Floyd should be allowed to for once to have a lighter fight.

The fight will reportedly take place on CBS as a free broadcast and not on a pay-per-view platform.
Ortiz was out in New York City getting ready to attend the premiere of his new boxing flick "Southpaw" -- when he went off on both Floyd and Andre Berto ... saying the matchup was a disgrace to the sport.

Complaining!
So you Floyd anti-fans and obvious casual boxing fans, complain about anything Floyd does because you guys just want to see him lose. That's fine but why complain. He boxes which he has done ever since he started having hand problems years ago. You blame him and not Manny. You complain about the price of the PPV which he does not set, that is the networks. Now he might fight a top 10 welterweight in Andre Berto and it is free but you guys still complain. You complain about him not fighting Khan. Khan is not deserving of anything, plus that bout will be extremely boring. you have two boxers fighting so the styles does not mesh well. You say he has to fight GGG a guy who is two weight classes above him. Either way, there will be something to complain about regarding Floyd Mayweather.

That actually takes away from the overall experience of the fight.
