Most would disagree, whether it's true or not, people don't think Floyd has challenged himself enough so they still ask more of him. Consider that most people were angry after May 2nd, this fight doesn't do anything to redeem him in the public's eyes. I don't think he cares but it's a bad fight, Khan, Thurman, or even Porter would have been a lot better.

Manny was supposed to be the challenge but Floyd beat him easily.

It's because they're scared that Khan would have beat Floyd so they'll try to justify the Berto choice as much as they can, while downplaying Khan at every turn. Berto poses no threat at all, he's the worst opponent Floyd has fought for over 10 years, whereas Khan was, at the very least, an interesting style match up and a very credible opponent.

I find it hilarious now that Khan got Floyd so scared he'll stoop down to this level, I mean fighting Khan leftovers was almost excusable (Maidana) but now he fighting Ortiz leftovers which no one in their right mind can seriously defend with a straight face.. lol
