You think WRONG. At the end of the day, money matters and Ward cashes the bigger paychecks than Bum-love-kin - just like Chavez does. Hence, he is the "A" side...
Lol no, it's because he did the highest ratings on HBO and sold the most tickets to (Mexican) fans, that's why he made more money. But hey, believe what you will.

"When are people going to feel like that's a fight that they want to see?" GGG hasn't done **** @168. When he's proven himself by beating DeGale/Abraham/Groves, then it's something I can get up for. I completely get the match-up from Ward's perspective: GGG is the guy with the hype machine behind him, and it's someone he can expose and steal the spotlight from. He might be out-growing 168 soon, so it's crucial that he makes this match-up ASAP. What I want to know is, who is he going to fight next when Team GGG doesn't call?

All that shows is GGG is underpaid. Just because Ward gets paid more from his promoters doesn't mean he also generates more money.

Ward making $2 mil off a $3 mil revenue show doesn't mean he's worth more than Golovkin making $1 mil off a show that generates like $5 million. I'm just making up the numbers but you get the idea. GGG sells more tickets at higher prices and attracts more viewers. So why wouldn't he get more than 50% of the money generated from that?

This is going to be a PPV fight, and when it comes to that, the most important thing is getting someone who is willing to pay for PPV.

Neither are PPV fighters. There really is no A-side and B-side. It's a 50/50 fight if there ever was one.
You don't have to be a PPV star to dictate terms. Though I don't care if the fight is at 168. It's more about the money.

WTF does Pacquiao have to do with the price of Tea in China or the topic of discussion @ hand?

Are you brain dead? Why would Ward take 35% in a fight with a guy who makes less money then he does? How in the hell does than even begin to make any sense?

            Put down the crack pipe.

If Bum-love-kin is entitled to more than 50% then please tell me why does he make LESS money than Ward?

He shouldn't dictate the weight, but he should easily dictate the split.

The split is going to be based on PPV buys and tickets sold. Well who sells more tickets and gets more viewers to tune in? It's a pretty simple formula.

Bum-love-kin has made a bigger purse than Ward? Really? Which fight was that, Genius?

it's already been explained, idiot. Someone was willing to take a loss and overpay him, his promoter. Same way Quillin could have made 1.5m for Lee, not a market rate.

The post was in reference to Chavez.

Golovkin's team are the ones demanding a catchweight and 50/50 split.

The challenge has been sent, Golovkin needs to grow a pair and fight Ward.
Shame the guy in your sig would rather swerve the hypejob. Too bad he didn't have your keen insight and guts.
