Andre Ward said he wants to fight Mayweather at 160.

So I imagine he'll have no problem making 160 for Golovkin too?

Golovkin will go to 168 for a decent payday (Chavez Jr, Froch) but Ward can't draw flies.

Andre Ward is a selfish prima donna who will demand home advantage so he can use a crooked California referee who will permit him to head butt and clamp Golovkin's arms all night.

Ward needs to be a man and fight Kovalev in the fall. Kovalev knows how to avoid head butts now, having fought Agnew and Hopkins, and he's too strong for Ward to hold.

Relevant to the casual audience. A win over Andre Ward would do wonders for Golovkin's career but his team seem content with beating up on bums. Yikes.

I don't understand how Golovkin fans think getting a few hundred thousand viewers more than Ward on HBO means he can dictate weight. This isn't Mayweather or Pacquiao who are PPV stars.

Why would it be 50/50, lol. You're not paid in boxing based on how good you are. You're paid based on the money you generate. It's easily a 65-35 split based on ability to attract and generate money.

168 is fine though but wouldn't be the first time the A side (and yes, GGG is actually A side here) asked for a catch weight.

                $50 PPV x 300k PPV buys = $15 million dollars.

That's $7.5 million in the pot.

Despite what the Bum-love-kin nut guzzlers have to say, this is a viable PPV fight that would give both men their biggest payday to date. 50/50 @ 168lbs is MORE than fair to both sides. Bum-love-kin ain't making this type of coin anywhere else and @ 33 years of age, the clock it ticking. Cotto doesn't need him and neither does Canelo. If the Triple Duck doesn't meet the Ward challenge NOW then he'll be 35 [or older] before he gets a big fight...

WTF does Kovalev have to do with a potential Ward vs Triple Duck fight?

How about you try eating an AIDS infested phallus.
You're talking about growing a set and moving up..that's where kovalev comes in.
I am all set with the Aids infested Phallus, you can put it back in your shorts homie....

If that's true then please explain why Andre Ward makes more money than does the Triple Duck.

Bum-love-kin is NOT the "A" side. Ward is the higher paid *and* more accomplished fighter. Ward is the "A" side...
