If you "refuse to believe that", then you're a ****ing idiot. It's his farewell fight. It doesn't matter who he fights. He'll announce it this week, and then the promotion starts. It's a bull**** fight that sells itself to the casuals and Floyd fans a la Guerrero.

      • Yeah his career is done. Nobody will pay to see Floyd fight. All other opponents out there for him to fight have no Fan base.

It's absolutely bizarre is what it is.

Unfortunately, it probably won't be a top welterweight at this point. If that was the case, they would've announced it much much earlier and promoted it.

On the other hand, the PPV will absolutely tank with Berto. No one gives a shlt about farewell fights for a hated fighter, who is also considered boring to watch.

Someone like Pacquiao gets away with mismatches more easily because he is exciting and used to knock out fools. Floyd pot shots his way to ugly victories.

There would be zero reason to watch Floyd Berto. Maybe Floyd just doesn't care about the PPV numbers after the Pac fight.

Nah I'm just guessing lmfao. I think all the banter Khan had a few months ago has died down a bit and recently he's been a little quiet.

I think Khan's known for awhile there was chance of him being picked to be honest and his banter is just so ****** we all just **** on him

Only other guy I'd say Mayweather would choose is Shawn Porter.

                    • If its not a high profile fight, its probably best not to announce it until the last minute.
