That earlier poster who was commenting on the possible lack of preparation is quite correct regarding the logistics..... and in 2 weeks time, I can see that could become a problem.....

..... but nothing is stopping Berto, or whoever, from training.

You want time to confirm top guys for sparring, schedule your gym time, and your team needs to be on point..... but that should not be a problem at this stage.

But the main point is, intentionally delaying the announcement, in order to affect your opponents preparation..... is most definitely not required for an opponent of Bertos calibre.

Mayweather let Canelo prepare, and he let Pacquiao prepare.... so why the fcuk would he be worried about Berto? This is hardly a top fight where Mayweather will need to pull out all stops.

The delay is just as likely to hinge around the opponent, or the broadcasting, as it is around Mayweather.

Berto and Khan have the same trainer though, what if in 2 weeks Floyd announces its Khan whos trainer has been working mostly with Berto, it's got to have some effect.

He trains both already. It's not like he's not used to them training simultaneously.

Berto is the blackest fighter to face Floyd.

He is going to put a Haitian beat-down on TBE.

              War AB!

Floyd should fight Stephen Hawkings instead. He's unbeaten as an amateur and a pro, and he poses a considerably higher threat than Berto. Lets do this. Try and solve this equation, Floyd..

                    Painfully unfunny.

Moments like this make me miss the Pacqauio fans.

Comon, everyone knows in order to get a fight with Floyd Mayweather you have to beat Berto... or at least Josesito Lopez. Plus, where was Stephen Hawkings in 1996-2001 when Floyd was dominating the game?
