So much wrong with post, you alt.No way. I think the fact it's free TV will hurt the ratings. Part of the reason people watched Mayweather was because it was an event being on ppv made it special you had big parties to split the cost. You won't have a party for this because you don't need to its free. The second reason people watch Mayweather is to root for him to lose. He doesn't have many fans he sells ppv by playing the villain. Hard to play that card and get people to tune in to see him lose when he is a 100 to 1 favorite in a massive mismatch. And I didn't even mention the stink from his last fight. The ratings will be weak for this fight.

[QUOTE=V.WEBB;15892687]LOL. Come on now. Why haven't people caught on yet? They don't like Floyd, but they keep tuning. I can guarantee that this will be no different. And it's his last fight where people aren't going to shell out any bread for it?
EVERYONE WILL TUNE IN. No matter how much they front on here.[/QUOTE
The only reason I would tune in is to watch and see if a stray shot put him on his butt. He needs KOing bad but the dude knows who can fight and who can't ! Like he knew about Pacs rotator cuff tear , he has the honors of the greatest cherry picker on earth!
He could have made it interesting and got in the ring with GGGComment

C'mon V.Webb. You're my dude but this match up is beyond garbage, even for free tv. There really isn't any way it can be defended, even with it being his last fight. I could justify it IF Floyd were fighting way past prime like Roy Jones and wanted to ride out on a win, but that's not the case. I honestly can't think of one good thing to say about this fight. He really is gonna get paid 30+ mil for a sparring session. I know people have joked in the past about that being what Floyd's fights turn into, but this is one going in.LOL. Come on now. The match-up isn't great, no, it isn't. And I'm not going to argue that. What I am saying is that it's his last fight and people are going to tune in regardless. Then you add in the fact that it is on free tv? I mean it's easy math when you look at it.Comment

all those casual fans who buy ppv not because they give a damn about boxing but to host a party at their house are not going to host a party for a mismatch free fight. This fight has no juice and the casual fans that show up for Floyd PPVs will ignore this. And hard core boxing fans are already up in arms about this fight. Just watch as TV ratings struggle. You can't sell this as a competitive fight when Berto has no fan base no quality wins anybody knows him it's for getting whooped by Ortiz and Guerrero. He has won only 3 fights in the last 5 years 2 of which were against pure bums.Comment

Because Floyd just fought Canelo/Maidana x2 and Pacquiao consecutively... While....
Thurman beat Collazo, Bundu, Guerrero, Julio Diaz and Soto Karrass
Khan just beat Algeiri, Collazo, Alexander, Julio Diaz and Carlos Molina
Brook just beat Gavin, Jojo Dan, Porter (good start), Robles, Senchenko and Carson Jones
All while circle ducking each other.
So why should Floyd give these b**** a free million dollar handout for beating C and D level fighters while he's been fighting elite opposition? They haven't done their part.
It's probably going to be a 10 round non-title fight on free TV.These posts express my feelings on the matter.Exactly. These young fighters should NOT be rewarded for their actions. They have been disgraceful and have conveniently been hiding behind the Haymon excuse.
Say what you want about Guerrero but he jumped up 2 weight divisions, identified Floyd's mandatory, beat him and then beat his gatekeeper to put himself in position to land the fight. Ortiz beat an undefeated hyped at the moment Berto to get the fight.
These other dudes haven't done Jack shi* but fight bums and say "Haymon only gave me 3 names".Comment

Good man, out here on TDY in Germany living it up!!!Chudd, how you been?

I won't argue that, yes unfortunately people will tune in to see this joke. It's just so bad of a fight it's ridiculous. I don't really even like the Khan fight but he could of at least taken that for the style match-up. But he's fighting Andre Berto
, I'm actually laughing cause it's so pathetic it's funny. I'm hoping the media grills him about this. He'll say something like "well I'm giving back to the fans" but this is a slap in the face to fans. I can't even think of why I should watch this fight. I'm seriously searching for reasons but I've got nothing bro.
