The amount of hatred on this site is crazy. Do you guys even enjoy boxing? SO much b1tching and whining about everything, all the time. These guys have no respect for what pro fighters do.

If you don't understand that the Floyd fighting on free network TV is a positive thing for boxing as a whole, then you're too in your feelings to see reality.
Also, Berto showed great heart in that Karass loss. He's a long shot (or no shot), but where else is Floyd supposed to go right now? And don't say GGG, that's ridiculous and not a fair fight.

Floyd's resume is solid. He's an ATG. Accept reality.

I don't even think this will average a million views, dead serious. Even with it being free on CBS. It's that bad of a match-up, coupled with people's view of Floyd post Pacquiao fight. Disgusting.

Terrible joke of a fight. Even for free it's hard to defend this choice. Between the backlash from the overpriced circus with Manny which was just a cash grab for both fighters to this disgraceful mismatch I would not be shocked if this fight flopped in the TV ratings. If the rumors true CBS will lose a lot of money. This fight is impossible to spin as competitive. Berto going to be like a 100 to 1 underdog. Mayweather should just retire this is pointless

If he were fighting somebody good on network TV maybe. But this is a garbage fight. This is like a preseason game with NBA Champs playing a d-league team. This does nothing for the sport of boxing because casual fans will be turned off because it's such a gross mismatch. This makes boxing look like a joke. You look foolish trying to spin this like Berto deserves a fight with Mayweather he got beat back to back and fought two bums? Even in his prime which was 5 years ago he wasn't that good.

I'm truly excited for the end of the circus. Finally, we can move on from the narcissist, control-freak who likes to keep the sport and other fighters dangling for his own kicks. Who has disappointed time and time again with his god-awful PPV let-downs where he refuses to actually fight and entertain.

I know that once it's over, he will forever tease the possibility of coming back for the 50th fight - that will hang over the sport for a few years until he probably does come back again.

But at least all the talent at 147 can no longer have the excuse of targeting a Mayweather fight and can get on with fighting each other.

The post-Mayweather boxing landscape might just be what the sport needs.
Nothing but truth. At this point Floyd does way more harm to the sport of boxing then good. This will end up being a freak show circus of a fight that gives boxing a black eye.

LOL. Come on now. Why haven't people caught on yet? They don't like Floyd, but they keep tuning. I can guarantee that this will be no different. And it's his last fight where people aren't going to shell out any bread for it?

EVERYONE WILL TUNE IN. No matter how much they front on here.

And stop this false "I can't wait til he's gone" talk. You guys will be on here EVERY day talking about the man. Nonstop. Then some fighter will emerge and y'all will say that Floyd is too scared to come back and fight said fighter.

I've seen it before on here.

No way. I think the fact it's free TV will hurt the ratings. Part of the reason people watched Mayweather was because it was an event being on ppv made it special you had big parties to split the cost. You won't have a party for this because you don't need to its free. The second reason people watch Mayweather is to root for him to lose. He doesn't have many fans he sells ppv by playing the villain. Hard to play that card and get people to tune in to see him lose when he is a 100 to 1 favorite in a massive mismatch. And I didn't even mention the stink from his last fight. The ratings will be weak for this fight.
