People need to stop HATIN on Khan just because they don't like him.
All his points were valid, especially on the Brook subject. I like Kell and I think he's a good fighter. I wanna see Khan fight Kell and it will eventually happen, but that fight will always be there.
There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with him trying to position himslef for Mayweather. It kills me when Bradley ducked Khan, everybody called it a good business decision. He eventually landed the Pac fight, but when Khan was trying to fight him that fight was not made yet. Bradley didn't want that ffight because he knew it was a risk and he didn't want to ruin a future patday. Khan was taking the same risk and was ready to fight.
Now Khan is trying to get a Mayweather fight before he retires because time is running out and people wanna HATE on him? SMDH!!!
Khan is right he worked his way up fighting tough fights, and even though he has taken a couple losses he has NEVER ducked a tough fight.
Like I said I like Brook but Khan is right, outside of Porter he hasn't really fought any other marquee name. It's the truth. Khan vs Brook will happen but in the meantime Brook needs to continue to prove himself and take on some of these other tough fighters.Last edited by jai mari078; 07-19-2015, 03:20 PM.Comment

The problem with this is that Khan has been stood up by Mayweather ( I cant remember how many times.) Is he going to keep ignoring the opportunity to win a legitimate world title and a good payday should he defeat Brook?Comment

This crossed my mind too, but it's a tricky situation because he doesn't want to repeat the mistake he made with the Algieri training camp and overtrain that way. That was because, once again, Floyd kept him waiting on a decision about his next opponent. He then ended up fighting Pac. While Floyd was reaching a decision, Khan was busy training just in case he fought Floyd, but then Floyd chose Pac leaving Khan to schedule another fight date but continue with the momentum of the training camp. In doing so, the camp was too long and it resulted in overtraining.
Because of Floyd ducking so consistently, I think Khan deep down knows that Floyd is going to duck again which is why he's not in full training camp now - instead he'll schedule a fight for December so he'll start training September instead (and prevent himself from overtraining again).Comment

Enjoyed watching the interview
If it is Khan that is next then it's clear he doesn't know yet judging by his comments that he feels Mayweather is showing a lack of respect by keeping his opponent in the dark even though he has started training himself. I am a Floyd fan as you can tell by my username but I think Khan has a valid point here. He needs to show a bit of class here if it's true that his hasn't told his opponent he is fighting them next.Comment

Green K. Brilliant post man.People need to stop HATIN on Khan just because they don't like him.

The haters are going to hate regardless, this site is full of those type of ******s, including some of the mods themselves - that's why they're able to get away with some of the sheer bull**** they come out with because the mods are part of this same group of freaks - the country bumpkin, manure cleaning, pig-feeding, sheep-shearing, goat-****ing type of freaks by all accounts.Comment

Almost everyone ranks Brook above Khan now because he won a title and never lost a fight. If Khan really believes he would beat Brook then why worry about making Brook a bigger star? A loss to Khan would hurt Brook, not help him. Brook is a star now and he will make money with or without Khan. Khan has no logical reason not to fight Brook except fear of losing the fight. A fight with Brook makes Khan big money and a win over Brook makes Khan a world champ and gets rid of his reputation as a guy who dodges big punchers ever since he got KOed by Garcia.Comment

I agree that's a problem, I count 2 occasions on which he has been stood up.
But he has improved things this year, Alexander a former titlist and Algieri, impressive against Porvodnikov and his only loss to Pacman. Plus a guy who really had him beat for size.
He does need a title shot to be important in the division if the Mayweather fight falls through but Khan has the luxury of time...if Mayweather decides no, he can easily fight in November or December and if Hearn doesn't set something up for Brook in stone, could be him...or could be Porter or Thurman or even Pacquiao.Comment
