Berto is terrible but at least he has some decency to him. Just watch Khan totally denigrate and **** on Berto, despite working out at the same gym with the same trainer.

Khan is many things but he's usually very respectful to other boxers.

Clearly. He waited until he saw Berto declining before he finally gave him a chance. Floyd wanted no parts of prime Andre Berto. That's why he kept feeding him against young hungry lions instead of manning up and taking on the beast by himself.

I kinda doubt that due to Floyd taking that Ortiz fight u felt like Floyd should of came back fought Paul Williams first then Berto next then Pacquiao because it would of looked good on his resume at that time but Floyd chose Marquez then Mosley and Ortiz. Floyd has nothing to prove but fighting Brook or even Porter would look better but like that guy just said too many people are back peddling with fights I would of paid the 200,000 fought Brook and unified the division and became the undisputed undefeated champ

Berto deserves the fight.

He was the gatekeeper for years.

The gatekeeper deserves his shot.

The gatekeeper wentfrom Berto to Josesito Lopez, Canelo and Maidan both beat him before they got their shot. The bout between Berto-Lopex was the ultimate gatekeeprr showdown...Berto just might get the fight lol

I'd be so happy if it is Berto! He's an underrated, quality fighter that is a veteran of some serious wars and has been in multiple fights of the year. I personally think he is better than every single opponent he has lost to. Y'all dog him about the loss to Soto-Karass, but he fought with one arm in that fight. He's not the most charasmatic fellow in the game so I won't expect Floyd to get on him about helping sell tickets/buys or whatever you want to call it. For me, this is good news. Berto is as fast as Pac with more power and much quicker to the punch than any other opponent Floyd has faced since his deal with Showtime. Should be a good fight. Berto is a warrior!

I wouldn't blame Mayweather for taking an easier fight in Berto (who got beat by the main who got beat by the man..) but it will hardly be competitive.
