He probably is right? Am I in the twilight zone?

Floyd hasnt just catergorically stated a thousand times "I am fighting on September 12th" for kicks.

And Fat Dan has no clue. This is the same guy who said his "sources" tell him that Mayweather Pacquaio isn't happening despite it being glaringly obvious that it was.

Much like Maidana 2, obviously the opponent knows he's fighting Floyd and are patiently waiting for him to announce it.

It's pretty damn obvious that he's fighting on September 12th.

What seems like an absurd notion to me is the idea that Floyd would pretend to be fighting on that date to keep Canelo and Cotto off the date.
IronDan, I would think we'd know if a khan, berto, or porter had started camp. Maybe I am wrong. You are right about Maidana 2, although we all knew that would be the fight. This feels different.

I can respect your opinion, but given the dynamics it's not absurd to me. As I said in my initial post I do not believe Fat Dan.

        I know

Like Floyd is thinking about them. Yeah right. He has maintained from the start that he's fighting in September and I'm pretty sure his opponent already knows.

They're all in camp. Read their latest interviews.

I don't find it absurd at all.

Floyd is going to pick the best date to fight. So if the 12th is viewed as the best date, then he'll reserve it in advance.. Canelo and Cotto, aren't going to fight on the same date.

Ok, I must have missed that.

You and Dan , as usual, make great points. I guess I am just over thinking it and am getting adjusted to the new way Floyd is using social media to announce his fights.

                  Right.

But if he's not fighting on that date he's not going to pretend he's fighting on that date just to keep them off it. For what?

So he's going to record himself training and caption the video "In Camp for September 12th" for the purpose of keeping them off the date?

Floyd Mayweather would go to that trouble?

                  Yeah, right.

This makes no sense because there is absolutely NO WAY Cotto was going to fight on that Sept. date after just having a summer fight... So move on from the conspiracy theories.

If its for free on CBS I'll tune in to see him fight pretty much any opponent. There's just a few that I would pay to see him fight at this point from who's available in Sept though. That would be.... GGG, Khan, Brook.

People keep harping about Thurman but I believe Floyd will make Thurman look silly. Keith has problems with boxers. Not interested in this matchup, nor am I interested in seeing him in with the sloppy Porter. Berto has no business in such a fight either.

Despite what many say, I feel that Khan can give Floyd all sorts of problems with his reach, speed, workrate, and awkward style. I would pay to see this matchup.
