Mayweather does not have a prime James Toney or Bernard Hopkins on his resume. Mayweather beat a prime Chico Corrales. What other great fighters In there prime has he beat? He does not belong In the top 10 period.

He also did not fall off terribly in the latter stages of his career, and did not take steroids

Weight drained Toney and green Hopkins? Pacquiao was rated the 2nd best fighter in the world prime or not. How many fighters were even top 10 when Jones fought them? 1 Toney.

They have Archie Moore as #1 all time. Moore was great but he wasn't the greatest that ever lived that's for sure. Floyd is right above Tony Canzoneri #9, **** Tiger #10, Carlos Ortiz #11, which are odd names to see that high on a list. Boxrec is all weird the more you look. Always has been a strange computer based system.

Regardless of how you may feel about Floyd or RJJ, Roy is a great example of a guy who just starts sliding down the ATG list after he "retires". Remember like 2000, 2001? There were actual conversations about if Roy Jones Jr was legitimately GOAT. Not fanboys, like historians on ESPN discussing it.

Mayweather fighting a 36 year old Pacquiao means more than RJJ beating a young prime Toney and Hopkins? How many prime fighters has Mayweather fought and beat besides Chico?

Based on his talent not his resume. His resume isn't that good.
