    Peasants....

They want to believe that Margarito was clean...They want to believe that margarito was making a plasterless comeback in the rematch.

Maybe we should just let them believe it. It gives them hope.

    Fck it...

Cotto isn't a politically correct coward like most public figures these days. If a bitter and jealous has been like Trinidad feels like insulting Cotto, he will get it back just as bad and that's what Miguel did.

As for this matchup, I would favor the boxer with several dimensions to his game over the one-dimensional bully who is lost once he can't figure you out. Cotto would stop him.

He's still undefeated and that's how I look at every fight. Margarito cheated Cotto out of a win all that matters is Cotto avenged that loss, but the loss is still on the record.

Oscar has the most big fight losses of any major fighter I can remember. Hopkins, Tito, Mosley twice, Manny, Floyd... Lost every single one. And the best part? People think he actually did something to Floyd as if the fight wasn't a 10-2 lopsided as hell decision. It's not Oscar who Floyd says is his toughest fight. Oh well continue praising the golden boy, I'm just looking at wins and how they did against similar competiation. Cotto did better against Mosley, Manny and Floyd.
Hell even the Whitaker win is better than Mosley/Martinez(though the Martinez can have its debatable opinions). Please downgrade the Whitaker win. You're going to downgrade while turning a blind eye to Cotto's opponents. That's what nut huggers do.

Similar competition? Who are these mysterious boxers you're talking about? Malignaggi types?

Those B level fighters are better than the so called A level fighters of today.

Cotto isn't underrated at all. More like overrated. I understand that Floyd fans want Cotto to do better and better so it could look better on Floyd's resume.

He also fought a prime Martinez. For the same thing he's criticizing other boxers. He's a hypocrite.

The #LucasEyeDoe is meant to show you have an excuse for anything that doesn't go your way. Lucas would have won... but da eye doe. Sergio would have won but da knee doe.
Once the fight started and he started to move, he was ****ed. Even in one of the 24/7s, the S&C trainer pointed out the weakness of Martinez.

That Margarito loss will always have an asterisk not to mention with a new coach and necessary adjustments he made Margarito look like an amateur.

Cotto/Canelo is a legit 50/50 fight. I could see Cotto winning by KO or decision as much as I could see Canelo winning by either too. Both are high level boxer punchers .
Asterisk to the losing side. It's funny how blacks never say that about black boxers that cheat.

That's where you're completely wrong. I was a fan of Garcia even before any of these Ricans knew about him. Gomez is one of my all time favorite boxers. The thing with Cotto is that stans put him in a pedestal and want others to see him like that, if we don't, they start their hater cries.

Only fights I've ever cheered against Cotto were Margarito and some of his recent fights(due to divaish attitude). So tell me, is that what people that hate do?

He ran like a ***** for the last couple of rounds. Any credible Oscar fan knows that. However, he did gave Trinidad a boxing lesson. He laid the blueprint on how to beat him. Similar to what Margarito did with Cotto on the first fight.

of course tito underestimate you jotto.

                    you levels below tito.

you got beat down by a limited skill marg and ex flyweight pac.

                    cotto wouldn't last in tito's 147-160 era.

mayorga would have whooped cotto's ass.

Tito finally got called out for being the heartless fighter he was. Good on Cotto - Tito has been ****ting on Cotto from the jump with this jealousy since nobody cared anymore for Tito. Cotto is there, developing new talent which goes to show that yeah, he has an ego - but he's putting in work to help the next gen of fighters.

You ladies can cry and make swerves and deny this, and fall back that Tito "may" have beaten Cotto, but in the end, everytime...EVERYTIME Tito got his ass whipped, he retired - shamelessly and as a gutless no heart former champ, only to come back and lose again. Everytime Cotto lost, he pulled himself up by the bootstraps and continued to fight.

                      Real heart
