You're right. The braces were there just for show. Kinda like Iverson's fans sporting the arm sleeve.

You do know knee braces are there simply for stability, it doesn't mean you're injured. I have twisted both my ankles and sprained them so badly I needed a 2-3 walking casts, really severe sprains. When I go play ball I wrap my ankles so they don't turn over as easily I'm still 100% healthy. If anything Sergio was cheating and he still lost.

Tito would have knocked Cotto the **** out. Cotto would have some early moments but eventually Tito would catch him. That dude had KO power in both hands.

What really happened? Seemed to me the best way to find that out was to speak with members of Sergio Martinez***8217;s team***8212;those closest to him in the sport. Sergio and his team claimed he was injury-free prior to the fight against Martin Murray as well, but immediately following that fight, they admitted he had indeed been injured before the fight but obviously didn***8217;t want to reveal that to their opponent before the bout took place.
But I guess his team is just trying to discredit the win right?

Funny how Martinez never fought with braces prior to the Murray fight (after the Chavez fight) but all of the sudden he needed braces for stability. Ok...

As for the bold, you're obviously trolling so Im done with you.

Martinez had braces on for stability and for cheating purposes guys.

Well considering he injured his knee twice without the brace and needed surgery, while when he did wear it he didn't need surgery it sounded like the brace did it's job and kept him from re-injuring it. That would mean he was healthy.

Tito was more likeable so people like him more. I'm not of that breed, I look at resume and what you do in the ring. I don't care if your nice or an *******, gay or straight. The difference is I'm able to only look at those things while others have to put their feelings about a fighter into account. Cotto is OBVIOUSLY a much better boxer than Canelo, I mean FFS you have to be a moron thinking otherwise.
This is true. Cotto is really underrated just because he's a ****. Dude out boxed a more prime Mosley then Floyd or Canelo. He's really only lost to the 2 best P4P fighters of the last 10 years. That Margarito loss will always have an asterisk not to mention with a new coach and necessary adjustments he made Margarito look like an amateur.

Cotto/Canelo is a legit 50/50 fight. I could see Cotto winning by KO or decision as much as I could see Canelo winning by either too. Both are high level boxer punchers .

Right because it was his knee that Cotto punched and not his temple.

Sergio retired because his he needs a brace for his heart after Cotto touched him to the temple in the 1st round. Imagine the shock of realizing your entire career was based journeymen wins and a single haymaker punch to Williams forehead...

I said it before the fight: LEVELS.

Sergio looked great against avg. fighters. So does GGG...So does GGG.
