In an exclusive interview to "Conteo de Proteccion" (Facebook) Cotto said the following:

"Estoy acostumbrado que Tito Trinidad siempre me subestime y piense que no pueda dar la milla extra, pero el sabe que cuando yo he caido me he levantado lo que el no pudo hacer durante su carrera, una vez que perdio su titulo nunca volvio a ser campeon."


Basically he says: "I'm used to be underestimated by Tito and he thinks that I can't give the extra mile, but he knows that when I have fall I have rise again, something that he could not do in his career. Once he lost the title he was never champion again".

Cotto is a better boxer than Tito ever was. Saying that, we forget Tito was the bigger man, and had the power edge.
