Common sense, anybody with half a brain can work this out for themselves. Who else was available for June/July? He said he was asked if he'd fight Porter in June, he said 'yes' and never heard about it again.

Still think they could've found somebody better than Collazo, but it would've still been against an opponent he'd almost certainly beat, so it doesn't make much of a difference really.

I think Thurman vs Porter will happen at the end of the year.

So when Floyd moves around and potshots it's boxing but when Thurman does it you say he's stinking up the place? I don't get it. I guess he's supposed to remain one dimensional and never adjust or adapt to his opponent.

There's no way he beats a Mayweather and I don't even think he beats a Khan or Porter.

Can't blame Thurman for wanting to stay active, sounds like a similar situation as GGG's. Promoters control the decisions their boxers make. Boxers can call each other out all night, if promoters don't agree then it's not happening. The only 3 boxers that have control of their careers are hopkins, mayweather, and Klitschko. They also all happen to be all time greats IMO.

He has the same problem alright. They both keep fighting bums for some reason.

Didn't Thurman come off of shoulder surgery when he fought Bundu?

No - Triple G has it worse - Thurman has time on his side.

Rigo and Triple G - a cause for the 'sport' to hang it's head in shame regards lack of competitive matchups. Rigo, if anything, in a worse position than Golovkin.

Bundu is a very decent fighter - just that he was mostly unknown in the States.

Does he sound content to you?

You think Haymon is making these decisions about each fighter? I seriously doubt that he has time to do that. He might be their "manager" but that is just a facade. He won't have time to manage 200 fighters.

It has much more to do with Haymon needing to keep all 200 fighters occupied so the Collazo's of this world can't be matched against the Paulie's - that doesn't fit with his business model nor does it suit the needs of tv regards viewership and selling adverts.

Regards demanding better fights - well he is not-so-subtly complaining about this match-up - but for a fighter determined to stay busy you have to accept stay-busy level comp.
