Al Haymon is killing these guys' careers and legacies, just like he did Floyd's. After Castillo and since Haymon bought out the Top Rank contract, Mayweather never fought the best since then. You can say Pacquioa, but everybody knows he was forced into it. Floyd could have been an all-time great. These other Haymon fighters are rotting on the vine.

This guys mismanaged in the sense that he shouldve either broke out already or got beat trying. Not all negative, he is in a nice position currently, he should be getn better fights though, win or lose.

I cant help but notice, he is beatable. Im pretty sure thats why he doesnt get the fights he wants. What i notice is his footwork, not exactly slow but he telegraphs his shots. Cant shoot well if his feet arent set. Its a matter of turning hin, clinching and scoring on the inside that will beat Thurman.. Brook and Porter can beat him.

Floyd could have been an alltime great???? What do you call an undefeated fight with wins over, Oscar, Mosley, Corrales, Castillo, Canelo, Cotto, Gatti, Judah, Chico Hernandez, Pacquaio, who may bw the greatest defensive fighter of alltime never been dropped for any sort of count, and oh the richest fighter in the history of boxing????? An Alltime great

He was scheduled to fight Maidana on his HBO debut but Maidana pulled out and a few guys have avoided him since then. He hasn't had the best of luck tbh. I don't think Haymon is protecting him, you don't throw a 19-0 prospect in there with Maidana if you're protecting him. You don't throw him in with Diego Chaves either, not at that stage of his career.

I don't understand why they didn't make Thurman vs Porter and make Broner fight somebody else, it would've made more 'business' sense because it was very obvious Broner would lose and Thurman vs Porter would've been a better fight as well. So it's really mind boggling.

yeah, it really should have been thurman-porter at 147 lbs and broner-garcia at 144 lbs. haymon's match-maker really dropped the ball

I think what you're missing here is that Haymon "don't know sht about baxin!".

I've said it in the past, but it seems like Haymon and his match makers are constantly dogging Thurman. The guy needs to be with another outfit to get the recognition and fights he deserves. He'd fit in well with Top Rank and fighting on HBO. Even GBP.

You mean the way he fought himself into the number one position in the WBO and WBA, but has yet to get his shot?

People forget his win over Zavek made him Bradley's mandatory.

People seem to forget his win over Chavez made him Floyd's mandatory.... 2 years ago.

So you want him to earn his spot in a third sanctioning body?
