Not true. The difference with GGG is Thurman has tons of fighters in the same stable as him with the same promoter/adviser. There is no politics preventing big fights for thurman. No issues working with other promoters to make a fight. Everything is under one roof making these fights for Thurman easy to get made. If Haymon wants it it will happen. But he doesn't so we get crap like Collazo. GGG is struggling to get fighters from other promoters to fight him.

Crap fight, but the only good thing about it, is he is not fighting another come forward brawler.

I have said it before, if he does not wipe out Collazo early, i think he going to be exposed a bit, though still will win.

Anyway next, he has Khan, Porter, Broner, Maidana, Brook, Floyd (outside chance) to fight.

If Thurman wants better fights he can get them. It has nothing to do with Haymon, PBC, Floyd ducking, hugging, running, clinching and cherry picking or whatever other excuses are being made for him.

This is like the trillionth time Thurman is taking a subpar fight because "no one else is available", "everybody is ducking me", "they didn't offer me any other names", "I had to take what I can get", etc.

Nobody is trying to hear that **** anymore. Put up or shut up.
You've been ****ting on Thurman for as long as I can remember, you clearly have something against him. That's cool, but at least don't be so ridiculously blind. Thurman clearly wants bigger fights, he has called out literally EVERYONE in the top 10, like literally.

Who else was available to fight in June/July?

It's more on triple G team then anyone else he pricing himself out or fights that can be made he wants ppv but doesn't have the resume to headline one he doesn't wanna take the risk to reap the benefits that comes with taking on harder challenges unless it's a ppv fight and if broner who is a bigger draw then Thurman is gets tough fights you would think haymon would protect him I'm not buying that bs Thurman saying

PBP-Do you think Haymon is trying to make Thurman "PBC's GGG" and market him as the "most avoided fighter at his weight"?

This excuse has been used to justify Thurman vs. Bundu, Soto Karrass, Collazo and Julio Diaz. That's 4 times dude. Enough is enough.

The better question is how come everybody is always booked when its time for Thurman to fight?

It was the only way to have a legit excuse to feed the fans the old
"you don't get to Mayweaather by fighting Collazo".

Because people would rather fight somebody else than Thurman? Lets be honest, only recently have fighters expressed an interest in fighting Thurman, particularly Spence. Maidana, Porter, Pauli etc have publicly turned down Thurman in the past.

Soto Karass was a decent fight at the time btw, that was a year and a half ago.

That's a good point. I think it's clear that they are trying to build him because he has skills, charisma, power, gives great interviews, is a unique personality and is a good shit talker.

But by giving him fights like this they are hurting him more than helping him. If he doesn't get Brook, Khan, Porter, Bradley or someone on that level in the ring by the end of the year that will be troubling. Hell, I'll even take Alexander or Spence at this stage.
