Joshua has not because there isn't a guy that could hold Malik Scott's jock strap on his resume much less Stiverne, and if you mean at the same point in time what kind of metric is that. Guys come in at different places and need to get moved differently, Joshua was a bit further a long but they are still going plenty slow with him.

Povetkin is not even anything to write home about either since his defense is sorry and will get hit on the way in like he always does~ how often do Joe Frazier types beat the tall rangy power punchers.
Joshua's opponents have been horrific. That's fine, that's how you build HW's slow and steady. Every HW since Jack Dempsey have been built that way because even scrub HW's can knock a brother out. Wilder is following the tried and true of path of fighting cans for a few years before moving up in competition to championship level. For perspective, at Wilder's age, Wlad was getting stopped by journeyman like Brewster and fighting cans like DaVarryl Williamson.

And Povetkin is so overrated on here it's insane. Maybe if he had head movement like Frazier I would give him a shot but the guy eats punches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wilder will school him..

Elroy1 is a funny dude. He always tells us how great this era of HWT's are when Wlad faces a bum but calls them bums when Wilder faces them.

Can't we just admit the HWT division is trash all the time?

People never like the HW's because they don't have all the slick moves that the little guys have. That's fine, they also are the most popular division in boxing and put the butts in the seats. I mean I think we're getting set for a great time in HW boxing with Wilder, Joshua, Fury, Jennings, Parker with guys like Povetkin and Pulev still kicking around. People act like there's ever been an era where the top 10 are all HOFers and there are no cans ever. Just not realistic.

arreola being the frontrunner? this is exactly the type of opponent he needs. He will be in his face as long as it lasts. styles make fights. stiverne being a solid counterpunching fighter with a good chin was all wrong for arreola. I would love to see arreola fight wilder. then if he beat him arreola\ povetkin would have fireworks...

I will simply say this, I never claimed Wilder hasn't improved. He doesn't give up his height like he use to, has vastly improved his footwork (which use to be horrible), and has learned to fight tall behind a decent jab.

And by 'better fighters coming up' in regards to Joshua I obviously met at this stage of their careers. Joshua has been pro for less than 2 years and is already not even that far behind Wilder. For those claiming Joshua's opposition has been awful you are terribly biased. It has actually been anything but that for a fresh prospect. It has in fact been quite good. E.g., the opposite of the Wilder path.

                Wilder was carefully maneuvered.

And we clearly disagree on Povetkin.
