But presumably he did pay the fee for the WBA and WBC. Maybe he plans to fight at 154.

WBC ruled that FMJr defended that 154 belt in Maidana II fight... FMJr pretended he didn't want that, but they still ruled as such.

For Mayweather, it means that now he can't unify all the WW titles vs Brook. But then again it's pointless unless he was actually gonna fight Brook in September, which he probably won't. I don't think Floyd cares about that though, not after beating Pacquiao, Canelo, Cotto, basically the three other top/popular PPV stars in the sport. There's nothing left to do but fulfill his Showtime contract with one last fight.

Funny how FIomos tried to make comments about how Floyd was getting screwed over... Floyd never paid the fee to even earn the belt.. but he did as you said for 154..so as long as you pay you can keep the belts for at least up to 2 years without fighting...

Might as well just have the ring magazine create a belt.. NO sanctioning fees... and that's it...

These ABC title organizations make me feel like I'm paying for a hooker even following boxing to begin with..

So Mayweather drained Maidana by 7 pounds in that fight too? Damn... I remember FIomos crying when Pac fought Margo at 150...

Yikes...Mayweather won the belt at 152..and defended it at 147 LOL that is something TBE would do

I think it's kind of interesting that Floyd announces his fights like less than 2 months before the fight happens... great way to promote the fight

Floyd is probably training right now..and knows what weight the fight will be at etc... his opponent will get a 6-week training camp tops LOL

Good idea, if only he had received the belt in the first place.
                  !
Contrary to popular belief, there should be a cap on sanctioning fee amounts.

$200K for a fight is outrageous and excessive.

Hahahaha loser Floyd fails again! He probably already can't afford 200k especially for a belt that just reminds him of getting slapped around by Fighter of the Decade Manny Pac
