97 he beat Tyson and Moore who had only lost 1 other fight at that point although he was probably diminished by then..

Roy Jones never had great years...he'd fight one good name and then cherry-pick and avoided that dude from Germany..

Mosley started out in 93.or else he might have deserved it as he never lost in the 90s and dominated the lightweight division like something I've never seen...

I'd go Roy Jones still... though for the 90s..because nobody was consistent enough to deserve it..he was undefeated... and beat Hopkins and James Toney...although he obviously didn't always go out of his way to fight the best
which is why i said, sometimes they get it right, sometimes they get it wrong.........

Tell me something, how is it possible to harbor such strong feelings towards a man whom you've never met personally?

Interestingly enough..early favorites for the upcoming fighter of the decade award are clearly:

          1. Triple G

          2. Kovalev

kovalev def there, but crawford is going into some stacked divisions as well, i think he can make a strong case. but underrated on my list is Wlad, i doubt hell fight until 2020 but i think for someone who's been as dominate as him for the last decade, ppl forget about him bc of his style. its only hard for me to see GGG getting it bc no one at 160 wants to fight him and i want to see him tested to the fullest.

I don't think Floyd cares about that though, not after beating Pacquiao, Canelo, Cotto, basically the three other top/popular PPV stars in the sport. There's nothing left to do but fulfill his Showtime contract with one last fight.
The thing is, I don't believe Brook or his promoters want to deal with Floyd Mayweather and would rather go in their own lane. It's a sure loss.

On the topic, the WBO proves to me why I don't care to recognize them. Anyone with a WBO belt is not a champion to me. You got to win the WBC belt.

Yah Wlad will be hated on for the "weak" Heavyweight division...

I'll be happy seeing Wlad KO Fury and retire...nothing more for him after that... Wilder is there...but KOing Fury after ridding the division of Haye and other hype jobs is enough for one career..
