Contrary to popular belief, there should be a cap on sanctioning fee amounts.

$200K for a fight is outrageous and excessive.
Ring Magazine could create a belt for each division..NO sanctioning fees... and use their ranking system to determine who the champ is etc...

Floyd is probably training right now..and knows what weight the fight will be at etc... his opponent will get a 6-week training camp tops LOL
He maybe plans to give Pac a well deserved rematch ................................

TBH who cares about a WBO title anyway...only thing that matters are Ring Magazine awards..like fighter of the year and especially BWAA Fighter of the Decade, obviously the biggest achievement a boxer can obtain...

Fans never cared about ABC titles or undefeated records for as long as I've known...

mostly popularity awards to me, sadly. rather prefer world titles and weight classes. holeyfield won more fighter of year awards than anyone in the 90s, roy jones got fighter of the decade.

Interesting Pacquiao was Fighter of the Year 3 times and BWAA Fighter of the Decade...fought in 9 different weight classes won titles 8 of them...

Do you want to change the posts again to fit the fighter you're trying to promote here lol...

So by your criteria who is better than Pacquiao all-time?

Kind of hard for Floyd to ever be TBE under any criteria...

Level of competition and most impressive wins are subjective to me also..Ray Robinson fought a guy who worked at a circus was out of shape...part-time boxers never land fights like that nowadays...

So basically if floyd were to announced he's fighting brook, he's probably going to win the appeal?

nope bc i actually respect what pacquiao has done through his career, the titles and the weight classes, i just don't hold the awards to high standards bc sometimes the writers get it right and sometimes they get it wrong. whats done INSIDE the ring is all that matters in my book.

                  relax on the assumptions btw.....

Holyfield definitely didn't deserve BWAA fighter of the year in 1990...and he got it 96 and 97 in both Ring and BWAA...probably deserved it 1997 and not 96...although the first Tyson win was the one that was the shocking one for some people...

97 he beat Tyson and Moore who had only lost 1 other fight at that point although he was probably diminished by then..

Roy Jones never had great years...he'd fight one good name and then cherry-pick and avoided that dude from Germany..

Mosley started out in 93.or else he might have deserved it as he never lost in the 90s and dominated the lightweight division like something I've never seen...

I'd go Roy Jones still... though for the 90s..because nobody was consistent enough to deserve it..he was undefeated... and beat Hopkins and James Toney...although he obviously didn't always go out of his way to fight the best
