The vast majority of Floyds fights did/do not have that much clinching. Really not sure where this came from. Off the top of my head Maidana II and Hatton were the worst, all Hattons fights had clinching because he was mauler type, and at 37 yo Mayweather did what he had to do vs Maidana.

Castillo Corrales, I won't take anything away from Floyd for those wins, but in my eyes, those are his best wins, those were a long time ago, since than the amount of Cowardice he has shown inside and outside the ring cant be ignored.

Floyd will go down as the most micromanaged career in the history of boxing, right there next to the most underachieving undefeated fighter, Joe Calzaghe.

Willie pep had over 230 pro fights and Him moving up in weight to fight Sammy Saddler could easily be compared to if Floyd moved up and fought Golovkin, which he won't do.

He got demolished by Saddler and took the rematch immediately, dude backed down from no one and sure as heck didn't run from fighters in there prime.
