Here is the bullshyt excuses for the lame product that is PBC. Well it's free and well compared the to the all time low of 2014 match ups by Haymon it's an improvement. Lmao. Sorry I'll take quality over quantity any day. Crap is crap whether it's free or not. And by the way ESPN, SPIKETV, FOX1, etc is not free. And just because Haymon disrespected boxing so badly in 2014 with fights like Garcia vs Salka don't mean we should now grade on a curve and act like Thurman vs Collazo should be praised. That's a garbage fight and with as many better fighters Haymon has at welterweight Thurman should be fighting one of them. Or he should be fighting one of the top welterweight that other promoters have. Oh yeah I forgot Haymon refuses to work with those guys.
So we got tons of mismatches and I haven't even touched how terrible the TV production is. Little to no punch stats in between rounds. Half the time if there is a knockdown you either get no replay after the round of it or a repeat of a crappy angle. It takes them 2 or 3 rounds to finally show you the knockdown. Corny walk ups to the rings. No ring announcer. The announcers suck. Terrible interviews after the fight if they give you an interview at all.
PBC is like fast food McDonald's. Looks cheap and leaves a bad taste when you are done.Last edited by bigdunny1; 07-06-2015, 10:51 AM.

Very few people. Most people, are paying for cable tv, or internet service to stream. But if you prefer to think like a child thinking the easter bunny really brings you eggs, be my guest.

This is an oldass interview. But still, malignaggi is a ****ing dumbass. I rather watch undefeated young prospects I never heard of who are trying to make a name for themselves (which is the whole ****ing point of it) box than some big name vs some bum in which the outcome is predictable.

They just have to brush off the general ******ity and prejudice of the casual boxing fan.
PBC, has put on some stellar cards, real good fights compared to everyone else. You cant find that type of consistency anywhere else in the boxing landscape. What else do we have? Canelo vs who? GGG vs who? Kovalev has the potential to be in great fights given the talent at the light heavy division but until they agree to work with each other what can they possibly offer? Who is Stevenson or Beiterbev fighting next? No one else is competing with the cards that PBC has to offer.
Garcia v Peterson
Broner v Porter
Khan v Algeri was good
Quillen v Lee
Direll v Chunky
Direll v Jack
Thurman v Ghost
All of those fights were good, and they were all ranked guys fighting, if those are bad fights to you then you cant be satisfied.
I find it interesting that no one mentions that most of these fighters are being built up into superstar status guys. Give it a year, Thurman, Porter, Broner, Khan, Spence, and all of the PBC elites will have appeared on t.v so much and have so much more exposure that once they start setting up ppv's with these guys you will see constantly solid numbers.
Its obvious with where these fights are stage, they are designed to build the base following for these fighters. Quillen in New York, Porter and Broner in Ohio, so on and so forth. Its a good move by Haymon.

If HBO were smart they'd put Cotto and/or Canelo on the same channel as PBC and watch the rating blow it out of the water. But they aren't, Haymon is and he's beaten HBO twice at their own game.
HBO is a much better product and here is the key...THEY ACTUALLY MAKE MONEY EVERYTIME THEY AIR BOXING. Every PBC card has lost millions upon millions of dollars.Last edited by bigdunny1; 07-06-2015, 11:07 AM.
