By your logic, Castillo beat Floyd, right?

And I'm just saying why I think GGG can't cut it at 168. He needs to fight the likes of Rocky Fielding and Anthony Dirrell to earn a shot at the cash king of the division.

Last I checked the 3 judges weren't suspended for that decision. There's a difference between a flat out robbery and a debatable decision. Why Floyd vs. Castillo is being brought up in a thread about Lara vs. GGG is beyond me.

Official decison reads Williams UD Lara. So that automatically disqualifies your point.

But, just for kicks, lets say we can call that a win for Lara, Martin Murray was clearly robbed vs Sergio, so going into his fight with GGG, Murray was undefeated, no?

So how is Lara better than anyone GGG has faced? Beating Sturm and Martinez is leagues above anyone Lara has beaten. But supposedly, Lara would be the best competition GGG has faced?

Not only are you playing dumb about the Williams fight. Your a goal post mover. You start by asking this:

But I'll entertain your moved posts just for kicks. GGGs best opponent is debateable. Lara being a quality opponent and a good name on his resume isn't.

Its very debatable when Lara can't even beat the slower, less powerful Canelo, or when he struggles with Angulo by getting knocked down by an even more molasses fighter.

"But but, he beat Trout, and Smith, and and, was in a close fight with Vanes".

Yea, Lara, is the guy who will suddenly make GGG credible. Lara, with all of his 12 KOs. "But, but, Monroe only has 6 KOs.".

Lara isn't quality at 160 until he can actually beat someone there.

Who cares about KOs? Nobody is knocking out GGG regardless. Andre Ward has 15 KOs in 28 fights. This isn't baseball.

Willie Monroe's KO ratio didn't make him a shit opponent. His best wins being Brandon Adams and Brian Vera made him a shit opponent which made it a disgrace of a fight for a pound for pound ranked fighter.

Nobody cares about KOs, but plenty of people have said, "Monroe only has 6 KOs, lol". Suddenly, KOs became a big deal when Monroe only had six, and these were from posters who constantly talk about boxing being "boxing not knockouts". So why even bring up the amount of KOs?

So again, what makes Lara a better opponent than Murray who was undefeated when he faced GGG?

Well...... that was them. I never said that. And again, I'm not debating who GGGs best opponent was. I'm defending Lara as the choice of an opponent.

Golovkin fans = Canelo is ducking Golovkin, he's a 160 fighter.

Lara has had 12 fights over the 154 limit with his highest being 158.
Alvarez has had 3 fights over the 154 limit with his highest being 155.

Many fans think Lara beat Canelo.
I feel like I'm living in bizarro world. Cotto and Canelo are the fights GGG fanboys are clamouring for, yet they've weighed over 154 fewer times than Lara, who has to "prove himself" at the weight, yet GGG doesn't have to "prove himself" at 168 to get a Froch fight?

                      WTF?????
