His fans are still blind to this ****. I drew the line when he fought Willie Jr. I shudder to think who they're negotiating with now

Reading posts on this forum people act like he is this huge draw,so why can't he headline a ppv?

Last I heard..... Ward is a genuine P4P fighter..... and Golovkin is just a hypejob with an over-inflated sense of self-entitlement who appeals to ignorant casual fans.

Just like Mayweather / Pacquiao !

BTW all, the post above was left by a bitter little pacstain who will need an industrial digger to remove the sand from his vagina following KTFO6 and the Mayweather schooling.

So why should Lara make an offer to this ppv megastar?
I didnt say Lara should make an offer, hes the obvious B side. But he should make sure he can get on Hbo, at least clear it with haymon and approach gggs people if hes really itching for it. Theyre not chasing a shaky chinned runner with no creds at mw, no belt and no chance of winning. He should also come to the table witth realistic demands, hard when he just made 1m vs no hoper to terrible ratings and attendance

Typical fanboy response. Downplay world class fighters and defend the selection of stumblebums.

I can't wait for your comments regarding GGG vs Heiland.

That's why Golovkin wants to come to the UK to steal some of Froch's ticket sales and PPV revenue. He isn't bringing **** to the table for a high roller like Froch

Froch coming out of semi-retirement to fight GGG would be throwing that entitled team a massive bone.
In the few years i've visited this site i've never seen such a poster with fascination of Golovkin. You post in literally every page of every thread about GGG, surely you're a secret fan.

Another day another disappointment from Froch. What's new? Froch craves publicity but refuses to fight GGG. My advice? Carl, declare your retirement and go schedule that nose job before you trip over it.

Typical response from someone cornered, with nothing to say. What do you suppose woukd be the odds on ggg vs lara? Care to make a poll? Just so we can figure out how much credit is due.

And yes, we know for a fact top names have not been willing to fight Golovkin. This isn't opinion, it's factual. We know Sergio Martinez, Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, N'dam, Lemieux and now it looks like Froch have passed on Golovkin. That's quite the list. It's very unfortunate for Golovkin. Obviously if he got those fights we would not be having this discussion.
True, it was a great opportunity, but lets not forget how that played out......

                      1) Froch got handed nothing, he still had to perform well, which he did

                      2) You state that the Super-6 was an opportunity - and it was - but lets not forget the other side of that equation..... risk/reward. Just by signing, all of those guys knew they had to win 5 tough fights back-to-back.

Any Golovkin fan would have to admit that GGG is a very well-managed fighter..... there is nothing to suggest that Team Golovkin would be prepared to take those kind of risks, they certainly have done nothing like that to date, the exact opposite in fact.

In the example you gave regarding the Super-6, remember Bute ?

Golovkin and Bute were both criticized for their opponent selection..... both made excuses as to why they couldn't sign top guys..... eventually, Bute was found badly wanting, he completely failed to live up to his hype.

Not saying that Golovkin is complete hype, just that he has proven nothing, and that his financial excuses are woefully inadequate.

Also, regarding the Super-6, remember Abraham ?

AA was destroying mofos at 160, but his power/performance did not translate at a higher weight against a higher level of competition..... nobody knows how Golovkin will perform, so stating that he is some kind of star is ridiculous imho.

If he was a star, or even close, I would have a much better idea as to how he would perform both at a higher weight and against a top opponent.

If Golovkins ability comes even close to his hype, then he should be screaming for defining fights. Kovalev fought for nothing, because he knew that he was good enough to make it..... listening to financial excuses from unproven fighters are ludicrous.
