Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), has heard nothing from Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, who promotes super middleweight Carl Froch (33-2, 24 KOs).

Several weeks ago there were some discussions between the two promoters. They were looking to reach an agreement where Golovkin would travel over to the UK to face Froch. Golovkin would also move up by eight pounds to take the fight.

i was watching an interview from froch other day and at end hearn walks into the interview and interviewer asks hearn whos next and heard says ggg right with a smirk on his face and froch also had smirk on his face like they had nm desire to make the fight. could be looking to much into their expressions but it seemed obvious to me. its actually a very entertaining interview he talks about how whats point of fighting ward as ward will almost for sure beat him in a decision unless he gets extremely lucky on a ko its last minute the part i mentioned with hearn tho

HBO are dying to put GGG on PPV, but that requires 2 men to sign on the dotted line, one of them is in Nottingham shaking in his boots now that his "dream fight in Las Vegas" would be against the most dangerous man in the world.

HBO have not approved Golovkin-Froch as a PPV. Nor is it a Vegas fight.

That's why Golovkin wants to come to the UK to steal some of Froch's ticket sales and PPV revenue. He isn't bringing **** to the table for a high roller like Froch

Froch coming out of semi-retirement to fight GGG would be throwing that entitled team a massive bone.

Because Froch wouldn't sell here on PPV.

Only PPV fights for GGG are Canelo, Cotto, Mayweather (obviously) and Chavez Jr before he lost to Fonfara.

There's only a handful of PPV fighters in America - Floyd, Pac, Cotto, Canelo and that's it. No one else sells PPVs right now. That certainly doesn't mean GGG isn't one of boxings biggest names, it just means PPVs don't sell like they used to.

how can you possibly be in favour of Mismatch Eddie and Carl "attention seeking" Frock!!!!

Why would you not want to see this fight - it's a true 50/50 fight

you keep hoping that Chavez jr can get past his light middleweight opponent so frock can get his vegas fight that way.....
