And I agree top rank is putting all their effort on Valdez and verdejo and it's disgusting. Loma has already accomplished more than the both of them and isnt as promoted as those two

I don't think this boxing "fans" actually know what's going on, am not in America but we have Boxnation which have shown a lot of PBC cards here, they have been good names and competitive fights, can't critise and only great for boxing fans. But it seems those fans are more interested in who is behind those cards... Haymon doe.

At worst what Haymon doing is no different than what all the other promoters are doing.

It can be a pain when cards overlap. It's been unfortunate recently when the Lemieux vs N'Dam card ran into the Smith Vs Ward fight. And when Molina Vs Wilder started while Walters Vs Marriaga was in progress.

I'm not interested in the Flores vs Shumenov fight, so i'd watch the Pascal and Kovalev fights if i had to choose. Missmatches..but i like watching those guys fight.

How many of those match-ups were you excited for? either one of the HBO fights you listed was more anticipated than all of those Haymon fights put together.

Kovalev is fighting his mandatory, something Cotto should take note of, so you cannot blame him if it is a mismatch, blame the sanctioning body. As for Pascal, he is coming off of a solid beating and deserves a soft fight to get back in the groove. If Ward deserves to fight Smith after sitting on his ass for so long, Pascal deserves this fight at least 10 times more.

The McDonnel-Kameda was the only fight on that list which entertained me in the slightest. The Lee - Quillin fight was the dullest MW fight I have seen in years. None of the others were particularly interesting to watch. When you combine the dull, sleep inducing production of PBC shows with a dull, boring fight, no one needs help to sleep that night.

I'm not blaming either guy. I'm simply stating that they're missmatches..which they are.

Kovalev's mandatory was due, especially after the IBF gave the exception to allow him to fight Pascal. So of course Mohammedi is due his fight on this card.
I understand also that Pascal may want a softer touch after losing to the top guy in the division. I'm not complaining.

I'm a fan of both guys, so i will be tuning in.

Well she's right. Even though Kovalev- Mohameddi is a ridiculous mismatch, Does anyone give two ****s about Flores-Shumenov?

What I'm worried about though is if this becomes a common thing where they start competing with dates and forcing the fans to choose between which fight to watch. That's not going to help anyone.
