Floyd also never had the kind of speed Roy has. Floyd is quick, but Roy was lightning, floyd could pop, but roy was light outs. Floyd was hard to touch, Roy was untouchable.

I just can't conceive of a game plan for Floyd to beat Roy. Roy is fast enough he would have countered over one of Floyd's leads and put him to sleep.

I just cant see Floyd winning this, he either goes super defensive and loses a wide decision, or gets KOed trying to counter Roy.

It has to be noted that while Roy has the edge in physical gifts, Floyd has the edge technically.

Its actually a pick em fight imo. Floyd would be bamboozled by someone even faster than him with considerably more power, but Roy could get caught out by a guy with better fundamentals and almost as much speed.

In his prime, Roy knocks out floyd in 2-3 rounds. There's a reason why floyd has never fought a slick black master boxer like Bradley or Monroe in his prime. In fact, I think Roy as he is still beats him pretty easily.
