    Roy 9-3

Floyd showed he fights scared in big fights.
roy does his thing in big fights and has more ring general ship. More power and speed in both hands at. Higher weight.

Same weight at a lower weight roy would become faster.

Roy overwhelms floyd . Would look like toney lost how broner loses.

I agree about the chess match though and both guys were almost impossible to hit. Difference to me is Roy's explosive body shots. Roy by ud.
Under 147 Floyd was knocking people out on the regular, same as Roy under 175

      Floyd was 27-0 with 19 ko's before he fought Castillo...and 34-0 with 22 ko's when he went to 147

          Roy Wins.

I just can't pick anyone to beat Roy Prime for Prime. He is simply the most gifted athlete to ever step through the ropes.

Floyd had serious pop but nothing like Roy early on.
Ya Roy was a devastating puncher from the jump. I still remember him throwing that leaping left hook against Tate, it was like a Tyson punch. Floyd stopped guys like manfredy, and dropped corrales a million times but it was due to speed and accuracy. He never ruined guys like Roy because he lacked big power. Roy had all that plus true elite power which is why he could put nearly unwatchable beatings on guys like Richard hall. People nowadays forget how great Roy was because they only remember him getting scorched later in his career. To me there's no debate.

Roy was the BEST athlete I've ever seen in the ring. I'd favor him over almost anyone that isn't a hw in a fantasy matchup. Including this one

roy had defensive flaws which were exposed by Montel Griffin in their first fight
2nd fight was a quick KO so it didnt really prove that Roy had improved the techincal aspect of his game.
Floyd is more of a complete fighter than Roy

doesnt neccessarily need to be a P4P match up, could have happened if Roy was around today and was a MW like in the beggining of his career. Tho i thought Roys best was probably SMW.

Floyd also never had the kind of speed Roy has. Floyd is quick, but Roy was lightning, floyd could pop, but roy was light outs. Floyd was hard to touch, Roy was untouchable.

I just can't conceive of a game plan for Floyd to beat Roy. Roy is fast enough he would have countered over one of Floyd's leads and put him to sleep.

I just cant see Floyd winning this, he either goes super defensive and loses a wide decision, or gets KOed trying to counter Roy.

His kos are not the same bro, you know that. The difference in power isn't even debatable.

I cant tell you what it means to me to see some one actually say this. The first time I saw him and I had been watching boxing all my life to that point ( 20ish years) and I knew I wouldn't see anything like him again. I take nothing from Floyd, financially he took it to another level but Roy was greatness. He didnt capitalize on it like we would have liked but damn that fool had skills on a supernatural level.
