Floyd has to be number one at the moment due to other fighters not getting close to him, he has beaten fellow top 15 P4P fighter Diego Corrales and Castillo plus a in form Arturo Gatti

u also have to realize tho, that he lost to erik and drew with jmm. his resume latley has been great tho

and the guy who wrote this article is just an idiot...did he watch the manfredy fight? or zab vs corley and how it was a split, when floyd handled corley. i cant believe he calls FLOYD boring, and then reccomends WINKY for the top spot!

a younger inexperienced(compared to floyd) Cotto ****d Sosa for four brutal rounds.

            Bruseles...cmon

Mitchell had NO punch. Mitchell shouldn't even had been fightin at 147.

none of the guys i mentioned cant even be considered a megafight...are you krazy? Also, N'dou & Corley were good tough fighters but nothing extraordinary. And when he fought Gatti it was so obvious PBF was gonna win and stop Gatti. if you were truely convinced dat Gatti would win dat fight you are as gullable as a 5 year old...mega fights...i think not

Well as you say, some of those might not have been mega fights but they were tough. Any boxers opposition, performances against that opposition or record could be downplayed.

But the question is if not PBF then who? Winky's top 2 wins were from guys coming up from jr. welter and from lightweight.

I would give more weight to Pacman being P4P due to his recent fights even with 1 loss and 1 draw I think he has been extremely impressive.

However PBF has gone up in weight. You give PBF some credit and some time he is just getting to 147lbs. Everyone is down on him for taking easy competition but remember he is coming up in weight 17lbs about 14% of his natural weight. There are others out there like Hatton who 140lbs there entire careers and have faced less than elite opponents his entire career with the exception of Tszu.

I am sure that once PBF gets aclimated to the higher weight he will go after the best, just like he did at 130 and 135. What excuse can others give for not having already fought the best?
