Kell trying to fight Khan is the same to everyone who wants to fight Mayweather, a huge lottery ticket. Only difference is Kell knows he can beat Khan and doesn't have to worry about Khan's lack of power, where as most fighters go in to a Floyd fight knowing they have very little chance.
Is Kell Brook the luckiest boxer atm?

So you'll be as understanding of ANY other fighter who has a strategy to position themselves for x belt and their promoter's intentions of their future bouts also? The strategy with Brook was to work him into the mandatory position for the IBF. If you consider the path to the title full of sub-standard fighters, then your issue is with the governing body.
Brook pretty much lost a year when the scheduled title fight was called off with Alexander twice.
The marquee fights will happen with Brook in the next 12-18 months, his promoters have been pretty clear with their intentions for him.Comment

To show I'm not biased in the whole Brook vs Khan thing. So people see that and perhaps they won't bring it up and see my OP as something which is making excuses for that fight not happening. Anything else you want to add?Comment

He's fought 2 people, one was a mandatory in 8 weeks. I didn't say either win was impressive. I'm trying to explain to you why they happened but you are clearly not objective so there's no point trying to reason with you. You're too blind to see how you're a Special K fanboy, the same way *****s and *******s/khantards are.
A lot of boxers beat others away from Home, it's not much of a big deal unless you beat Wlad or Floyd on points on their respective soil.
Khan has beaten Malignaggi, Alexander, Algieri and Collazo on their soil but just not for a belt, it really isn't as special as you think then again everything is special when you're a special kell fanboy.
He's fought too much lesser opponents as a World Champion, don't care if both were within a week or on the same night, still wouldn't impress me. But I guess it's special for you...
Also about the stabbing, strange circumstance leading to that lol.
Refer to my OP on why he is lucky as hell, it should be the go to for what has Kell done other than beat Porter.Last edited by Dirk Diggler UK; 06-30-2015, 05:28 PM.Comment

Lol. Kell Brooks is a joke. No one even knows who he is outside of a few Bridiots. He's a nobody, in my day what you would call a jobber.Comment

I know Jo Jo Dan was a mandatory so I let that slide but Frankie 'gargoyle' Gavin was straight taking candy from a baby and his next fight if it's Rios is also another underwhelming opponent which I have no doubt you'll support.
You are the one who isn't objective as many of the Special K fan boys in this thread aren't, still waiting for someone to quote each of my points in the OP and critique them.Comment

Kell Brook had two options after fighting his mandatory - wait till August/September to fight again or take a keep-busy fight in between. He chose to have another fight rather than not fight.I know Jo Jo Dan was a mandatory so I let that slide but Frankie 'gargoyle' Gavin was straight taking candy from a baby and his next fight if it's Rios is also another underwhelming opponent which I have no doubt you'll support.

There was neither the time nor the money to secure a world class opponent so a Gavin level opponent was the only thing available.
As for Rios - please tell me an available fighter with a bigger name.Comment
