Too many big names in the USA right now: Pac, Mayweather, Cotto etc.
Earning him his highest payday and a world title does nothing but fighting Algieri did?

Khan is going for the bigger fish, and so he would rather fight in the USA.

Algieri = bigger fish. Fighting on Spike TV in front of a dead crowd on a Friday night must've really got Mayweather's juices flowing.

"Well, let's have it man......I mean if he wants to fight, I'm ready....Kell thought I was going to say no to it. Look I'll take that fight, I'll take it with both hands....I don't think Kell will want to fight me....I want to give the British fans what they want. Come on, lets get it on man!"

          8.45

"Now he's earned his shot. He's put a great fight on. He's won a good fight against Porter so why not? We can get that fight done now. I mean he's proven himself. He's answered ALL the questions"

That fraud made those statements while on the set post-fight, then he ran off to fight Devon Alexander, making the following statements:

"Amir Khan rattled the cage of British rival Kell Brook having opted to headline in Las Vegas against American Devon Alexander in December calling it "a bigger, more difficult fight" in spite of Sheffield***8217;s Brook holding the IBF welterweight crown.

"At this point it probably is a tougher fight than Kell Brook," said Khan of his rival, who returned to training this week after being viciously stabbed in the leg on holiday in Tenerife.

While Khan dutifully maintained he was not looking beyond his December 13 opponent, his promoter Oscar De La Hoya fully expects victory in Las Vegas to bring the British welterweight a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jnr in May 2015.

The problem with Khan's theory over Brook is that Brook beat the man, who beat the man. Brook beat Shawn Porter, who had beaten Khan***8217;s next opponent, Alexander, to claim the IBF belt. It put Brook on a pedestal with two other welterweight kings - Mayweather, and Manny Pacquiao. Calling it bragging rights, but right now, Brook, recovering or not, holds some booty around his waist.

Khan disagrees, though. "Even though he's a world champion, styles make fights. This is definitely a tougher fight. There will be more action in this fight. No disrespect to Kell, I could have taken the easier fight and fought Kell in the UK but that's not the type of fighter I am."

I'm not making excuses for why Khan isn't fighting Brook. Khan is clearly ducking so there's that gone for you.

No one has still come up with a reason as to why Kell isn't the least bit lucky, dude is still riding off the 1 live body he beat in his whole career.

So yeah, not really holding it hostage at all, really. He's hardly the new Sven Ottke.

If he's only fought '1 live opponent' in his career, that's still one more than Thurman has fought. That's one more than GGG has fought and look at his reputation! That dude wants to fight a 147lb-er for his first real test.

Sorry but the OP post just reeks of jealousy and butt hurt.

Khan said this when Brook was still recovering from getting stabbed

                  What an absolute wanker.

That's what happens when as a black chav you go to chavvy holiday destinations. Then again no wonder the British public support him so much, he has more in common with them.

Still waiting for someone to post decent counter points to my OP.
