At this point...Money talks. Step aside money is probably more than GGG will see for one of his fights.

    GGG needs Cotto-cash.

Yes. That will allow Cotto and Canelo to make what? 10M each?

umm no its not. If they trade canelo wins. It cotto boxes he wins. Cotto is not going to trade thus cotto wins. It will in essence be Floyd v canelo 2. An embarrassment. Canelo could have won against Floyd but of course didn't. Can canelo win yes. Is it 50/50 no. A puchers chance doesn't not equate to 50/50.

Sorry sir, the general consensus on tis forum is that cotto wont step in with ggg at anyweight. Even 154.5. He scurred. If you ask me if cotto steps in there with ggg at 158 he has super duper balls of steel. 2 pounds is not going to kill ggg and it will mitigate cotto, at 5'7 from having to fight a 180 pound guy fight night.

Oh ****, I just garnered a whole lot of respect for Cotto for that move. I hope this isn't just bluster and that this will be written down and signed.

We about to see some good fights fellas....

EDIT: I have Canelo > Cotto... but he's hardly the clear cut favorite.

I think he should because unless they have a guarantee he will fight him next... who cares.

Cotto/Canelo can still happen without the belt

Winner runs and hides from GGG is more likely. Not that they will have any obligation to fight Golovkin as Gennady will have the title by then once Cotto is stripped.

If the winner had any intention of fighting Golovkin, they would have signed the agreement by now. They have not signed it, they have no intention of fighting him.
